MHT CET 2017 was held on May 11, 2017 by DTE Maharashtra for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes across the participating institutes of the state level entrance test. Over 4 lakh candidates appear every year in this state level entrance examination, out of which the candidates appearing for admissions to engineering programmes are over 1.50 lakh.
According to the new eligibility criteria set by DTE Maharashtra, unlike previous years, candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota seats need not to appear in MHT CET 2017, as the candidates will be admitted under this quota based on the merit list of JEE Main 2017 Paper I Score. Hello Ravi, MH CET(Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is taken to get admisison into engineering colleges of Maharashtra. You can check more information at
as you have not mentioned any particular branch for cutoff details.
Hope this helps.
yes you can join but you won't be able to use domicile reservation. You will go under open category and rank cutoff range for it is really low compared to home state quota reservation.
If you have a rank which will satisfy the COEP cutoff rank range with your respective category then you can take an admission for sure.
for any branch you consider you have to score above 170 in the paper. The minimum mark considered is 145 for Electronic and telecommunication branch. for Computer science it is 170.
for more details you can visit:- www.coep.org.in and look for cutoff category
Hope it helps!
