Cochin University of Science and Technology has released CUSAT CAT 2018 application form on February 7, in online mode. Aspiring candidates, who wish to take CUSAT CAT 2018 can start filling the application form. Before filling the application form of CUSAT CAT 2018, aspirants are advised to check and ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. The application form of CUSAT CAT will be available till February 28 without late fee. Candidates can also fill and submit the application form with late fee from March 1 to 3. However, candidates are advised not to wait till the last day and fill the application form before the last day to avoid any last moment hassle. Application fee for CUSAT CAT 2018 can be paid from February 7 to March 5.

Before filling the application form of CUSAT CAT, candidates must keep the following images and documents ready with them:
Scanned (Colour) Photograph as per the prescribed format and size
Digital (Scanned) Signature as per the prescribed dimensions and format
Educational certificates for entering the related information
Credit/Debit Card/bank details for fee payment
The application procedure of CUSAT CAT includes registration, application filling, uploading scanned images, fee payment and application submission. General category candidates have to pay Rs. 1,000, while reserved category candidates have to pay Rs. 500 as application fee.

CUSAT CAT 2018 will be conducted on April 28 and 29 in online mode for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes. CUSAT CAT is held for 2 separate papers for 2 hours each. The paper of Mathematics carries 125 questions against 375 marks, while the paper of Physics and Chemistry will also carry a weightage of 125 questions against 375 marks. In CUSAT CAT 2018, marks will be allotted out of 750. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded while for each incorrect asnwer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Well I am sorry but with this rank you will not be able to get into CUSAT. The cutoffs for your preferred branches don't usually cross 1000 even for the reserved categories so a rank of 2310 doesn't come into consideration.
Maybe you should give it a shot in the next year or go for other alternatives this year.
