Chennai Institute of Technology opens B.E/B.Tech 2020 admission process
Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT) has released the online and offline application form for admissions into the offered B.E./B.Tech courses. Candidates can now fill and submit the application form by paying the fee of Rs. 1000. Before the application process, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of their 12th standard marks. Currently, Chennai Institute of Technology offers admissions into 8 B.E. and 3 B.Tech courses. There are certain conditions that the candidates should meet to be eligible for admissions into the B.E./B.Tech courses offered by the institute.These criteria are specified by the authorities and if the candidates are not able to meet these conditions then they will be disqualified from the admission process.
Candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination.
Open category candidates should have secured average 50% marks in 10+2th or equivalent examination.
Backward category candidates should have scored average 45% marks.
Candidates belonging to the Most Backward and SC/ST category should have secured average 40% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination..
The application form for admission into Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT) is now available in both online and offline mode. To participate in the admission procedure, the candidates will have to submit the application form before the final date. While filling out the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal, academic and communication details. If the details are not valid, then the candidates will be disqualified. The eligibility criteria also has to be checked before application.

All of the candidates will be selected for admissions on the basis of their performance in 12th standard qualifying examination.

Ratio for CSE is most likely boys: girls= 1/3 : 2/3. Girls mostly attempt for technical branch or core branch so it have comparatively more girls strength to non-technical branch like chemical engineering, civil, ME, food technology.

Hostel facility is good. They provide High quality and hygenic environment for safe stay of students. They provide individual cot, study table and other essential needs.
They also provide place for sports and research work. Study room with good network wifi is given. for big room , they might accomodate 2-3 students. for small rooms , one student.
