SVNIT, Surat has conducted the CCMT 2017 seat allotment in online mode. The first list of seat allotment has been released today i.e., May 21, 2017. The list consists of the candidates who have qualified and have successfully been allotted seats in the participating institutes of CCMT 2017. Along with allotment list, the institute wise allotment and opening and closing ranks for admission has also be published. Candidates can now check their allotment status online. Individual allotment letter will not be sent to the candidates and he/she will have to download the provisional CCMT 2017 allotment letter.

Steps to Check CCMT Seat Allotment 2017


To check CCMT 2017 Seat Allotment list for Round 1 – Click Here

  • The link to access the CCMT 2017 seat allotment list for Round 1 is now available.

  • The candidates will have to login using their GATE Registration ID and password.

  • The result as well as the allotment letter will be provided for the candidates.

  • The allotment letter has to be downloaded by the candidates for future use.

The candidates can also check the institute wise allotment list. The GATE registration ID of the allotted candidates along with their GATE 2017 score will be available in the list. Category wise opening and closing ranks of each course and institute has also be published for the first round of CCMT seat allotment 2017.


To be listed in the released CCMT 2017 seat allotment list, the candidates should have successfully registered themselves and should have met the eligibility criteria. Allotment of seats has been done online by the admission authorities on the basis of the secured GATE scores of the candidates. The provisional allotment letter is now available online for the selected candidates. Selected candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee (Rs. 20,000) through SBI MOPS. After payment of fees, the candidates will have to report at the help centres for document verification. Finally, the candidates will have to submit their allotted institute and pay the balance fees to confirm their admission.


CCMT 2017 will be conducting three rounds of seat allotment along with one National Spot Round. Admissions into the participating 40 institutes will be done through CCMT Seat Allotment 2017.

First of all make a study plan and set targets for daily, weekly and monthly.
Give more importance to those topics which have more chances of having high weightage in the examination and work on your weak areas.

There nothing you can't do. Nothing is impossible. With 70 days in your hand, you can definitely qualify GATE Biotechnology if you are really dedicated. Let me tell you some tips.

* Start with knowing your syllabus precisely. And make a  strict routine ,which you ought to follow.

* Start with looking at the questions of the topic which you are going to study, and then read on the topic so that you focus on attention on those questions.

* Solve as many questions and previous year question banks as you can.

* Do smartwork besides hardwork.

* Clear your doubts on the spot and do not gather them for later.

This will help you to succeed. Hope this helps.

You can get the final result of GATE 2020 on 16th of March 2020 and the score card will be made available from  20th to 30th of March 2020.
