BITS Pilani has declared the result of Iteration 1 today, on July 1 for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes at BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. Candidates must note that BITS Pilani declares the seat allotment result in the form of Iteration only. Candidates can check their seat allotment result or iteration 1 online by entering their BITSAT 2017 hall ticket/application number and password. The candidates who figure out in the iteration 1 list have to further pay the admission fee on or before July 10, 2017. These candidates have to pay Rs. 32,300 as admission fee to confirm their seat.

As per the institute, after the result of iteration 1 of BITSAT 2017, the cutoff for First Degree Programmes is 287, while the cutoff of wait list at the end of iteration 1 is 220.
Apart from the iteration 1 result for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes, BITS Pilani has also opened the admission portal for direct admissions of board toppers. First rank students of the school boards in India can get direct admission at the 3 campuses of BITS. BITSAT 2017 was conducted in online mode from May 16 to 30 across 47 test centres located across India and Dubai. The result of BITSAT 2017 was declared on May 19 in the form of candidates scores, while the result of iteration 1 has been declared on July 1. Every year, around 2 lakh candidates take BITSAT for admissions to 2,000 seats in Integrated First Degree Programmes programmes across 3 BITS campuses – Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.
Apart from the entrance test, BITS Pilani offers direct admissions to first rank students of all the central/state boards to the programmes of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. However, for direct admissions, these board topper candidates must have secured minimum 75% aggregate marks in PCM in class 12th. Along with this, they also need to have secured minimum 60% marks in each of the PCM subjects in class 12th examination. The aggregate marks should include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics apart from other subjects considered by the board to pass class 12th exam.
