Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Releases Application Form for M.Tech Admission 2020
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Deemed University has released the application form for admission in M.Tech courses for the academic session 2020-21. Students interested in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham M.Tech admission can fill the application form available in online mode till May 31. Students can fill the online application from the official website of Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham and pay the application fees. Admission in the institute is offered on the basis of the GATE/ PGECET exam. Students having a GATE score are given direct admission while non-GATE qualified candidates are admitted on the basis of academic performance and /or an interview. Eligibility Criteria
Students seeking admission in the university must fulfill the below mentioned criteria in order to be considered for admission
Students must have passed B.Tech/B.E. with minimum of 60% marks
Students having M.Sc. in engineering science or science discipline from the subject in which admission is desired are also eligible
Students appearing in their final year exams are also eligible subject to condition that they must submit the pass certificate at the time of admission
Application Process
Students interested in applying for admission in M.Tech course in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham a follow the below mentioned steps to fill the application form
Step 1 - Open the official website of university
Step 2 - Click on M.Tech admission 2020 link
Step 3 - Register using the required details like name, date of birth, mobile phone number and email address. Students will receive a message on mobile and email containing their application number and password.
Step 4 - Fill application form with required details of educational qualification, exam through which applying for admission, communication details, parents details, state of residence, etc. Students must fill all the details carefully as incorrect information will lead to cancellation of application.
Step 5- Students will have to pay Rs.1000 as application fees to complete the application procedure. The application fees can be paid in online mode using credit/debit card or net banking.
Selection Process
Candidates who fill the application form within the last date will be called for admission. Students having a valid GATE score will be offered direct admission. Students having qualified PGECET or other exam will be admitted based on the performance in qualifying degree and/or interview.

AMRITA OR PSG WHICH IS BEST IN COIMBATORE ????

Firstly colleges are selected on the basis of your own priorities so do that and now let's distinguish between both the colleges on various points:-
Infrastructure-both the universities are beautifully made so no competition in that.
Popularity-vit is one of the best private university in India and since its an old university so it's well known amongst students and parents. Amrita is also well known and popular amonst everyone.
College life-if you want to enjoy your college life with your friends and want to spent your weekends outside in cafe along with your studiesor something then VIT is really good for you. But if you want to do the same in amrita then you won't be able to as it's really strict and for weekends you'll have to follow many rules. First you'll have to take permission from your parents the your parents will have to talk to the warden and then the warden will sign a pass for you and then you can go.
Placement-highest package offered by VIT is 41.6lpa and average is 7.6 lpa. Whereas in amrita the highest package offered is 43lpa and average is 5lpa.
So according to your priorities you can now select your Preferable college.

i got mechanical engineering in amrita university, amritapuri campus ,so i thought of joing there, and my question is CAN I TRANSFER TO CSE GROUP IN 2ND SEMESTER AFTER STUDYING MECHANICAL ENGINEERING IN THE FIRST SEMESTER ? AND HOW MUCH CGPA SHOULD WE SCORE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO TRANSFER?

you can change your branch only after second semester .for that you have to fill the application form provided by the college .first you must have high cgpa ,about 8+ cgpa and second there must be any vacancy .if the vacancy is less then the best cgpa holders will get the preference .
