AKTU Changes UPSEE 2018 exam date to April 29

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the important dates of UPSEE 2018. The UPSEE application form 2018 will be available from January 23, 2018 and the last date for filling it is March 15, 2018. Candidates can fill the application form of UPSEE 2018 with late fee till March 31, 2018. The admit card of UPSEE 2018 will be available for downloading from April 16, 2018. It is on 29, 2018 that UPSEE will be conducted in offline mode on April 29, 2018.

Important Dates for UPSEE 2018

In order to avoid the clash of dates of the two entrance exams, ie - UPSEE 2018 and JEE Main 2018, the authorities had taken the decision to revise the dates for UPSEE. Earlier UPSEE entrance exam was to be held on April 15,018. However, the date of the exam was clashing with JEE Main on,ine exam. According to media reports, the decision for change of dates was taken by Secretary of Technical Education Department of UP, Bhuvneshwar Kumar in consultation with the chairpersons of the participating institutes of UPSEE.

Another important decision that was taken was that the UPSEE counselling 2018 will be conducted in three rounds and will be completed within a span of ten days. The UPSEE 2018 counselling will begin June 25, 2018. Candidates will have to register themselves for the first and second round of UPSEE counselling 2018, while the third round will be a mop round.

Those students who are appearing in the UP Board intermediate exam will get more than a month’s time to prepare for the entrance exam of UPSEE.

In 2017 the UPSEE entrance exam was conducted on April 16, 2018, while the JEE Main offline exam was held on April 2, 2017 and the online exam of JEE Main 2017 was held on April 8 & 9, 2017.

The application form for UPSEE 2018 will tentatively be available from January 23, 2018. Candidates must ensure that they meet the UPSEE 2018 eligibility criteria before they fill the application form of UPSEE 2018.and not on April 15, 2018 as announced earlier.
