ACET-EEE 2016 Application Form available from March 14 to August 15

Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) has announced application form and admission dates for Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (ACET-EEE) 2016, for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes available at the institute. The institute will admit candidates to B. Tech courses on the basis of JEE Main 2016. However, for a few states and cities, ACET will also conduct its own entrance exam this year.

Application Form for ACET 2016 will be available from March 14 to August 15. Aspiring candidates will be offered admissions based on their All India Ranks in JEE Main 2016 from March 14 to August 15, 2016. In case, the candidate has not appeared for JEE Main, then he/she may fill up the application form on the basis of qualifying examination marks (10+2) and appear in entrance exam.

Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology offers admission to eligible candidates in six B. Tech disciplines across 690 seats.

The institute offers B. Tech courses in the following branches:

1. Civil Engineering (CE)

2. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

3. Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

4. Electrical Engineering (EE)

5. Information Technology (IT)

6. Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Eligibility Criteria for ACET-EEE 2016:

  • Students, who have passed their 12th class with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as optional subject, can apply for admission in B. Tech courses at Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology. 

  • Seats will be offered to candidates for admission to B. Tech programmes on the basis of JEE Main 2016/ACET-EEE 2016.

Hello Abhishek, Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology is a good college and might not be the best one for MBA, but yes it is a good college when it comes to MBA, the previous placement records are not so good and the average salary is 3.5 Lakh per annum, it is your decision to make a choice based on your preference finally. Good MNC's like Hyundai, Infosys, Accenture come for placements to the campus.

When will the next acet exam (subsequent to the September 2019) be conducted?

Hey

The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) has announced the schedule for February session of ACET 2020. Registrations for the same started on December 5 (3 P.M.) and the last date to register is January 28, 2020. The ACET exam fro February 2020 session will be conducted on February 29 and admit cards for the same will be released on February 12, 2020.

Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), is known to be the top Engineering colleges in North India and also one of the best Engineering college in Punjab. The college offers  undergraduate and postgraduate courses like Btech and Mtech and other courses. Coming to your query regarding Computer science and engineering branch, the course structure is almost the same as the remaining colleges but the difference is infrastructure and faculty. (According to the reviews). Approximately 50-60 percent major companies come for placements and the number of students getting placed is more than 80 percent in case if computer science branch.
