JEE Advanced 2013 Registrations Notification

JEE Advanced 2013 Registrations will start from May 8 till May 13, 2013. In its latest notification, CBSE specifies that admissions to the IITs and ISM Dhanbad will be through the JEE Advanced examination for 2013-14. Students have to apply online through the  website and generate the payment challan. JEE Advanced 2013 Registrations will be successful on payment of the specified fees. Students have to ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying.



JEE Advanced Eligibility
:

  • Candidates who will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced will be known on May 7, 2013 when the results for the JEE Main will be announced.

  • The Eligibility Criteria for a student to appear for the JEE Advanced 2013 is to be in the top 1,50,000 students (inclusive of all categories) who qualify in the JEE Main 2013 (Paper 1)

  • Students must also be in the top 20% of their respective boards to be eligible


JEE Advanced Application Procedure
:

  • Candidates  will have to register online at http://jee.iitd.ac.in/ OR http://jeeadv.iitd.ac.in/

  • A registration fee of Rs 1800 (Rs 900 for SC/ST/PWD male candidates) has to be paid

  • Note: No fee for female candidates

  • Candidates must use the Challan generated during the registration process to pay the fees at any SBI branches having core banking solution (CBS).

  • Registration is completed only after payment of fees is acknowledged.


JEE Advanced Admit Cards
:

  • After successful registration, candidates can download their JEE Advanced Admit Card.

  • Candidates who hold a valid Admit card will be allowed to appear for the JEE Advanced 2013 exam.

  • The Admit Card for the JEE Advanced 2013 must be presented to the invigilator for verification.

  • The original JEE Advanced 2013 Admit Card will be issued to the students on the day of the exam at the exam centre after verification of the downloaded Admit card

  • Candidates must keep the original JEE Advanced Admit Card carefully preserved till the admission process is completed.


JEE Advanced 2013 Important Dates
:

  • Registrations from May 8 to 13, 2013

  • Payment at SBI CBS Branches: Before May 14, 2013

  • Admit Card download: May 15 to 31, 2013

  • The exam will be held on June 2, 2013
