VITMEE Application Details

Step 1: Registration:

  • Candidates must enter their name (as per their degree certificate), date of birth, gender, email ID and mobile number.

  • Those, who successfully register, receive their password via SMS to their registered mobile number and email ID.

Step 2: Filling details in application form:

  • Candidates must log in using the password received via email/SMS.

  • They must enter their personal details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, category, address, etc.

  • They must also enter their academic qualification details.

  • Candidates with valid GATE scores must also enter the GATE score details.

  • Candidates have to compulsorily enter the information in all those fields that are marked with an asterisk *.

  • Candidates must also enter three VITMEE exam centres in the order of their preference.

 

Step 3: Uploading Photograph & Signature:

  • Candidates must scan and keep their photograph & signature ready as per the specifications.

  • They must then upload the same.

 

Step 4: Payment of Application Fees:

Candidates must make payment using any of the prescribed methods.

 

Step 5: Submission of Application Form:

  • After payment, candidates must submit the Application Form for VITMEE.

  • A unique VITMEE application number is generated on submission of the application form.

  • This VITMEE application number must be noted and kept safe by candidates for future correspondence or reference

 

Step 6: Printing of the VITMEE Application Form: Candidates are advised to print at least two copies of the VITMEE Application Form.
 

Important: Candidates need not send any documents or the VITMEE Application Form to VIT University.

VITMEE Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be Indian Nationals.

  • Candidates must have consistent record in class X and class XII.

  • Candidates should have completed their B.E/B.Tech in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

  • Those appearing for their final degree exam/final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply provided they complete and submit their degree by mid-August of the year in which entrance exam is conducted.

VITMEE Counselling Details

  • After the VITMEE Result is announced, candidates who have been shortlisted receive an SMS from the university.

  • The list of such candidates is also displayed online.

  • Candidates must log in and check the counselling schedule.

  • Candidates have to attend the counselling procedure in person and carry all their original documents for verification including their VITMEE Admit Card.

  • A non-refundable fee must be paid at the time of counselling to be adjusted in the tuition fees if the candidates accepts the seat allotment and confirms the admission.

  • This fee has to be paid via a DD drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore (only computerised DD is accepted).
