VITEEE 2022 - VIT Vellore has recently revised the VITEEE 2022 exam date on the official website - vit.ac.in. As per the new changes, the VITEEE 2022 exam will now be held from June 30 to July 6. Moreover, the authorities have also extended the last date to fill the VITEEE 2022 application form. Now the candidates will be able to fill the VITEEE application form 2022 till May 30. Interested candidates seeking admission in BTech courses at VIT Vellore or any other campuses will be required to fill the online application form of VITEEE 2022.
Candidates who have secured a minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (45 % in case of reserved category) are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2022.
Aspirants preparing for the VIT BTech exam 2022 must refer to the VITEEE syllabus to stay aware of the topics and sub-topics on which the question paper will be based. According to the VITEEE exam pattern, the exam will be conducted as an online exam with a test duration of 2 hours 30 minutes.

April 11, 2022 - VIT Vellore has revised the VITEEE 2022 exam date. The VIT BTech exam 2022 will be conducted from June 30 to July 6.
March 15, 2022 - The exam authority has revised the VITEEE 2022 exam date at the official website. VITEEE exam 2022 will now be conducted from June 17 to 25. The last date to fill the VITEEE 2022 application form has also been extended till May 20.
March 8, 2022 - The exam authority has released the VITEEE exam date 2022 at the official website. VITEEE 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 30 to June 7.
February 23, 2022 - The university has notified that the VITEEE exam 2022 will be conducted tentatively between the second and third week of April. Moreover, the online application form of VITEEE 2022 will be open tentatively till March end.
December 2, 2022 - VITEEE 2022 application form has been released at the official website. Candidates seeking VIT BTech admission 2022 can now apply online.

VITEEE Exam 2022 Overview
Candidates can find the complete details of VITEEE registration 2022 on the official website vit.ac.in.
As per the VITEEE syllabus 2022, there are 5 sections in question paper that are Mathematics / Biology, Physics, Chemistry, General Aptitude, and English.
A total of 125 multiple choice questions will be asked in VITEEE exam 2022.
For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. VITEEE 2022 has no negative marking.
VITEEE counselling shall be conducted in offline mode.

VITEEE 2022 admit card will be available to candidates after slot booking. Candidates should complete the slot booking of VITEEE 2022 within time to get desired exam slots. It is mandatory to carry the admit card of VITEEE 2022 to the exam centres. Only candidates who will qualify in the VIT engineering entrance exam 2022 with minimum VITEEE cutoff marks shall be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Candidates need to report in person at the respective VIT for the document verification process.

The VIT Vellore releases the eligibility criteria for VITEEE 2022 on the official website. Candidates should satisfy the VITEEE eligibility criteria before applying VIT engineering entrance exam 2022. As per the exam eligibility of VITEEE 2022, Indian nationals, NRI and foreign national candidates are eligible for the VITEEE exam 2022. Below are the complete VIT eligibility criteria 2022.
VITEEE 2022 Eligibility Conditions
- Nationality – The candidates should be Resident/Non-Resident Indian National. PIO and OCI holders will also be eligible for the VITEEE exam 2022. However foreign nationals can apply through the foreign category only.
- Age Limit – Candidates born on or after July 1, 2000, are eligible for VITEEE 2022.
- Qualifying Examination – Candidates should have passed or should be appearing in the year 2022 in any of the following examinations:
- 10+2 of Higher Secondary Exam conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE).
- Intermediate or Two year Pre-University Exam conducted by a recognized Board/University.
- High School Certificate Exam of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- NIOS candidates will also be eligible for VITEEE 2022.
- VITEEE 2022 Qualifying Marks
Candidates applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2022 should have secured minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).
Candidates applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2022 should have passed with minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) for the following categories:
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST
- Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. CERTIFICATE TO PROVE COMMUNITY / NATIVITY should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

How to fill VITEEE Application Form 2022 online?
- 1st Step - VITEEE 2022 Registration – Visit the official website- vit.ac.in and click on the new registration link for B.Tech admissions. Candidates will have to register by providing their name, date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number, and email id. The login password will be sent by the authorities into the registered email id of candidates.

- 2nd Step - Filling of VITEEE 2022 Application Form – After completing the VIT registration 2022, the next step requires filling the application form. Candidates will have to provide information about their personal, educational, qualifying exam, and contact details. After all these details are submitted, the application number will be generated.
- 3rd Step - Payment of VIT Application Fee – The candidates have to pay the required application fee through net banking/credit card/debit card.

VIT will conduct the VITEEE counselling in online mode. It means for VITEEE 2022 counselling, candidates are not needed to physically present at the date and venue as specified by the authorities. Among the six engineering entrance examinations, JEE MAIN/BITSAT/VITEEE/MET/SRMJEE/AEEE AEEE Amrita engineering entrance examination is the simplest of all vi engineering entrance exams. It has 30 questions from physics and chemistry, which are as easy as board exams, and 60 questions from mathematics, which are also as easy as board exams. Those who perform well in board exams can easily answer those questions with a low merit. This exam is not as difficult as JEE Main and BITSAT. well, some feel VITEEE is tougher where some feel AEEE is tougher. ultimately, it depends on the candidate who is giving exam.
Both the exams are conducted in online mode (cbt) and the duration for both the exams are 2 hours 30 minutes.

Can I get admission in VIT if boards percentage is less than 55% but viteee rank is good.( around 5000)?

No, you are not eligible for admission in VIT with pcm/b aggregate % less than 55% irrespective of your rank in VITEEE. Moreover if you are 12th pass out then you can't even fill its form with less than 55%.
This is because,
In order to be eligible you must have at least 55% in 12th in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology if belongs to general category or at least 45 % in aggregate in PCM/B if belongs to sc/st.
In case, if you are sc/st and have 45 % or more than you are eligible.
