TMISAT 2022 Exam : Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern

TMISAT 2022 - The Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) has released the exam dates and application form of Tolani Maritime Institute Science Aptitude Test (TMISAT) 2022 at the official website. The application forms for TMISAT 2022 has been released at the tmi.tolani.edu for both national centres and Induri centre. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of PCM marks and IMU CET 2022 ranks and will be called for the online test. TMISAT 2022 is designed to assess the candidates on their reasoning skills, solving skills, general knowledge, personality traits and more. Based on the scores secured by the candidates, the TMISAT 2022 merit list will be prepared. The shortlisted candidates of TMISAT 2022 will have to report for the counselling procedure and in order to be eligible to get the admission, the candidates have to be physically/medically fit. 

The Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) conducts the TMISAT 2022 exam for admissions to the B.Tech Marine engineering programmes  offered by it. TMI, a maritime college was established in 1998 in Induri, Pune and offers courses which are approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS). The Marine Engineering and Nautical Science degree programmes offered by Tolani Maritime Institute are also approved by Maritime Port Authority of Singapore. 

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of TMISAT 2022 can only apply for the TMISAT exam for admissions to the B.Tech Marine Engineering degree programme at Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI). The eligibility criteria consists of the nationality, age limit and education qualification which are required to be met by the candidates to be eligible to get admission into the institute.

Age: In order to be eligible for admission to the institute, the male candidates are required to be born on or after 1st September 2000. There is a 2 years age relaxation for the female candidates who should be born on or after 1st September 1999. The minimum age limit to get admission in the institute is 17 years.

Gender: The Institute doesn't differentiate amongst candidates on the basis of gender. Both genders are equally eligible.

Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates will be offered admission in the institute.

Academic Qualifications: The candidates should have successfully completed their Class 12th (10+2) or equivalent with at least 60% marks in PCM and at least 50% marks in either Class 10th or Class 12th. Candidates whose Class 12th results are awaited are also eligible to apply.

Medical Fitness: Candidates are required to meet the minimum physical fitness and medical standards if they wish to get through the admission procedure. Candidates are advised by the authority to go through the medical fitness test before applying for the admission test certain parameters such as Eyesight, Genitourinary System, Skin, Nervous System, Digestive System, Respiratory System, Cardiovascular System, Lymphatic System, Digestive System, ENT, Skeletal System, Constitution of body, and others.

Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) has released the application form of TMISAT 2022 for admission of candidates into the B.Tech Marine Engineering degree programme. Candidates will have to submit the application form before the last date. Candidates will be required to be ready with the soft copy of documents to upload while filling the online TMISAT application form 2022.

Steps to fill TMISAT 2022 Application Form

STEP 1- Registration: 

Aspirants will first have to register for TMISAT 2022 by entering their personal details such as gender, name, mobile number, email address, date of birth and password. After filling the required details, they will have to click on "Submit" and the details will be sent to the registered mobile and email address. Candidates will then have to validate their account by clicking on the link provided.

STEP 2- Application Form of TMISAT 2022:

Once they have registered, they will have to first login after filling in the details. The candidates are required to fill in the required details so that they can proceed to the next step. In this step, candidates will be required to enter their personal and academic details and address of communication.

STEP 3- Upload Documents: 

Candidates who have successfully entered the details in the application form will have to upload the scanned images of the documents such as recent passport size photographs, Class 10th Marksheet, Class 12th Marksheet (if available), Transfer Certificate, Birth Certificate or Passport, Caste Certificate (if any), and medical report. After uploading these documents, they will be required to proceed to the payment gateway.

STEP 4- Payment of Application Fees: 

After successfully uploading all the necessary documents, candidates will be directed to the payment gateway for the payment of application fees. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 1200 through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking or Demand Draft drawn in favor of "Tolani Maritime Institute" payable at Pune.

STEP 5- Submission of Application Form: 

After successful payment, candidates will be required to download the duly filled application form of TMISAT 2022 and get that printed. 

The printed TMISAT 2022 application form has to be sent to the postal address along with all necessary documents. Address: "Tolani Maritime Institute, Talegaon-Chakan Road, Induri, Talegaon, Pune- 410507, Maharashtra, India" 

Documents needed:

• Two identical recent passport size photograph (with names & form number written at the back of it), 

• Self-attested copies of Class 10th & Class 12th mark sheets

• Self-attested copy of birth certificate,

• Downloaded copies of Class 12th mark sheet (if result available) 

• Attested by the School Principal, Sports Certificates copies (from class 8th and above)

• Online transaction receipt (if paid online) or Demand draft of Rs. 1200 in favor of "TMI" payable at Pune.

Application Fees

The exam pattern of TMISAT 2022 consists of the stages, marking scheme and the time duration of the exam. Aspirants are advised to go through the exam pattern of TMISAT 2022 so that they can have a good knowledge of the exam pattern in which questions will be asked. TMISAT will test candidates on solving skills, reasoning skills, general knowledge, language skills, aptitude and personality traits.

TMISAT 2022 Exam Pattern

TIMSAT will release the admit card in online mode on its official website. All the candidates who successfully submit the application form will be issued the admit card. All the registered candidates will be able to download the admit card of TMISAT 2022 for national centres in online mode only. The candidates will be required to present the TMISAT admit card 2022 before the invigilator at the time of online examination, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to give the exam. The TMISAT admit card will comprise the details such as name, roll number, examination centre and time slot.

Steps to download the Admit card of TMISAT 2022

• Visit the official website

• Candidates will be required to log in using their username and password

• Admit card will be displayed on the screen

• Candidates will be required to check the admit card for any errors. If none are there, candidates must download the admit card for further use.

Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) will announce the result cum merit list of TMISAT 2022 a few days after the exam is conducted. Candidates will be able to check their merit list from the online portal by logging in their account using username and password. 

The list of shortlisted candidates displayed will be required to report at the counselling venue to complete their admission formalities. The merit list will be based on the marks secured by the candidates.

Mode of Counselling: Offline

All the qualified candidates will be called to attend the offline counselling process of TMISAT 2022. Candidates will be required to report at the venue as per the date and  time allotted to them in their call letter. Counselling will consist of the document verification followed by the medical test by the DGS and TMI approved doctor. 

Seats will be allotted to the candidates who meet the TMISAT cutoff marks and are medically fit. The qualified candidates will have to pay the required fees if they wish to confirm their admission in the institute.
