Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE)

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) will conduct Jharkhand PECE 2020 tentatively in the final week of May. PECE 2020 will be an offline exam of the duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes which will consist of multiple choice questions. PECE 2020 application form will be available tentatively from the last week of March and candidates will be able to submit their applications tentatively till the final week of April. Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination 2020 will be conducted for admissions into Diploma courses in various government & private polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand. It must be noted that it is mandatory to fulfil the requirements of the eligibility criteria before applying.

Candidates appearing for the exam have to ensure that they fulfil all of the requirements of the eligibility criteria of Jharkhand PECE 2020. It is mandatory for the candidates to meet the eligibility requirements of Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination 2020. Detailed PECE eligibility criteria 2020 is given below:

Academic Qualification-

• The candidate must have passed class 10 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 35%.
• Candidates appearing in class 10 in 2020 are also eligible to apply.

Citizenship-

• To be eligible for PECE 2020, the candidate should be a citizen of Jharkhand or should have a domicile.

Age Limit-

• There is no age limit prescribed except for Diploma in Mining Engineering for which the minimum age required is 17 years.

Medical Requirement-

• The candidate will be required to produce a medical certificate prescribed by the registered medical professional at the time of the admission.

Candidates will have to complete the process of Jharkhand PECE 2020 application form to participate in the examination. The application form of PECE 2020 will be available online tentatively from the final week of March to second week of May. Candidates will have to fill and submit the application form within the prescribed time period. 

Steps to fill and submit PECE Application Form 2020

Candidates can go through the steps mentioned below to fill and submit the application form.

Step 1- Application Form Filling:

Candidates have to click on the link on the official website to access the application form of PECE 2020. The following details have to be entered by the candidates:

• Personal Details: The details like Name, Parent's name,  Date of Birth, Gender, Aadhaar number, Family income, Nationality, etc have to be entered.
• Choice of Examination Centre: Candidates have to select the exam centres according to their preference.
• Educational Details: Academic details like name of the school, name of the board, Roll No., year of passing, percentage of marks have to be entered.
• Communication Details: The communication details like address have to be entered here.
• Password: A password has to be generated here which will be used in future processing.

Step 2- Uploading of Images:

Scanned images of the candidate's photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression has to be uploaded in the prescribed format.

Step 3- Application Fee Payment:

The prescribed amount of application fee has to be paid online through debit card, credit card or net banking. Candidates will have to take a print out of the confirmation page for future reference.

The authorities will release the admit card of Jharkhand PECE 2020 in online mode tentatively in the third week of May. Candidates will have to download the PECE admit card 2020 which is a mandatory document to appear for the examination.
