About NEE 2020
NERIST Entrance Examination 2020  North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) is soon going to announce NEE results. The authorities had rescheduled the conduct of NERIST NEE 2020 exam. NEE II and III was conducted on October 10 and NEE I was on October 11. The authorities released the NERIST NEE admit card on October 2 on the official website. The authorities had also allowed registered candidates to change the choices of exam centres between June 19 and 28. The authorities released the application form of NERIST NEE 2020 on January 10 and was available till March 21. The university released a detailed notification about NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE) on January 6. NERIST NEE 2020 will be conducted in pen and paperbased mode across seven states includes Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, Sikkim and Tripura. NERIST NEE 2020 will be held in three different levels for seeking admission to Base Module (NEE1), Diploma Module (NEE2) & Degree Module of Engineering branches of Technology stream (NEE3) and Degree Module of Forestry stream through NEE2 (PCB). The candidates will get their seats based on their merit in the NERIST NEE exam 2020.

Candidates need to read the prospectus or brochure thoroughly before applying for the NERIST NEE 2020. It is informed that the candidates should check the eligibility section carefully to make sure that they are eligible for the NERIST NEE 2020. The application form of NERIT NEE was released on January 10 in online mode and was available till March 21. Candidates who met the eligibility criteria for the entrance test could fill the online application form of NERIST NEE 2020. The application form could be filled in online mode in five steps which include registration, login and the application form, uploading the photo & signature, payment of application fee and the printout of the confirmation page. Candidates can find the steps below for reference.

How to fill NERIST NEE 2020 application form
Step1: Registration
Click on the ‘Apply for admission’ button on the web page of NERIST NEE 2020 portal.
Then, search and press the ‘New Registration’ link.
Fill the following required information on the website without any mistakes,

After successful submission of registration form, candidates received an activation code in the email.
Candidates need to click on the link to activate the email ID.
Step2: Login and filling of basic particular details
On clicking on the activation mail, the web page was redirected to a new window.
Enter the user name and activation code on the web page.
After that, candidates had to choose the course of choice and they had to start filling the online application form.
Login to the website by using the registration number and password.
Choose the programme Type and programme name and click on proceed.
Fill all necessary details as per the instructions and proceed to the next step by clicking on the ‘Save and Continue’ button.
Step3: Uploading the photograph & signature Click on the ‘Upload Photograph and Signature’ button to upload the passport size photo and signature in the prescribed format.
Step4: Fill Academic details and Exam centre The candidates had to enter all necessary fields of academic details on the web page and then choose the desired ‘Preferred Examination Centre’ before clicking on the ‘Save & Continue’ button.
Step5: Application fee payment
Click on the ‘Proceed to Payment’ button on the web page to pay the application fee.
Now, select the payment type as ‘online’ and choose the desired online payment mode (net banking & Credit/Debit Card).
Click on the ‘Pay Now & Submit Application’ button for final submission.
Step6: Printout of the confirmation page After successful payment and application form submission, the candidates can take the print of the same and save for future use.

NEE 2020 Admit Card
The admit card for NERIST NEE 2020 was released on the official website on October 2. To download the admit card, candidates had to log in to the website by using the registered email address and Password. Without a valid NERIST NEE 2020 Admit Card, candidates are not allowed to appear for the entrance test. The admit card contains important details includes candidates' name, photograph, signature, date of birth, date, time & venue of the exam centre. So, the candidates need to check all the information on the admit card.
NOTE: If the candidates forget the admit card to the exam centre, they must bring the photocopy of his/her Registration Confirmation page and two colour photographs to appear for the entrance test.

NEE 2020 Result
The result of NEE 2020 will be announced for all three modules of NEE I, II & III. Candidates will be able to check their result from the official website only by the use of User ID and Password. You can get the necessary link from this web page. NERIST NEE 2020 Result will contain important details of selected/ waitlisted/ extended wait lists of NEEI, NEEII, and NEEIII. The merit list will be issued a few days after the declaration of result. Post the announcement of the merit list, the selected candidates will be called for the counselling and seat allotment process.

NEE 2020 Counselling
Mode of Counselling: Online
The exact dates of NERIST NEE 2020 counselling will be published and the names of the selected/waitlisted candidates, along with the date and time of counselling uploaded on the website. After that, the eligible candidates will be able to download their counselling letter from the website only and no separate counselling letter will be issued. The candidates will have to provide all the appropriate original documents along with attested copies at the time of counselling/admission process.
NERIST NEE 2020 Counselling Process
Step1: The candidates will have to register through the website to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process. After the completed online registration, a unique registration number will be generated and appear on the screen. Take a printout of the admission form and it should be submitted at the time of counselling.
Step2: The candidate needs to bring the counsellingcumadmission form with them along with other relevant documents on the scheduled day of counselling and seat allotment process.
Step3: All candidates will have to successfully complete the document verification process that will be conducted during NERIST NEE counselling. Any candidate who fails in the process will be disqualified.
NOTE: If the candidate is absent on the day of counselling, it will be considered that the candidate is ‘Not Interested’ and his or her candidature will be abandoned. Candidates reporting late process may also lose their preferred branch during the counselling process.
