About JEXPO 2023
JEXPO 2023: WBSCTE has released the JEXPO 2023 admit card online on May 29. Candidates can access the link to download the admit card of JEXPO 2023 on the website, webscte.co.in. The authority re-opened the JEXPO application process 2023 on May 03 and concluded on May 20. The JEXPO exam will be held on June 03, 2023.
Applicants appearing for the exam must refer to the JEXPO 2023 syllabus and exam pattern for their preparations. Candidates can also practice the JEXPO previous year question papers to check the important chapters and topics asked in the exam. The JEXPO 2023 test will be conducted in offline mode. The exam will be held for two hours and will have 100 questions, 25 each from Physics and Chemistry and 50 from Mathematics.
To apply for the JEXPO exam 2023, applicants must have passed the Class 10 exam with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks in English, Physical Science/Science, and Mathematics, among others. Candidates who fill the application form before the last date will be able to download the JEXPO 2023 admit card a few days before the exam.

The West Bengal State Council of Technical Vocational Education and Skill Development conducts JEXPO for admission to various diploma courses offered by polytechnic institutes in the state of West Bengal, including engineering and technology. Candidates who qualify for the JEXPO 2023 will be eligible for admission. The allotment of seats will be through online counselling.

JEXPO 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The exam authorities has released the eligibility criteria of JEXPO in the official notification. Applicants filling the application form must check the JEXPO eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria comprises nationality, qualifying exam and age limit. In case any candidate fails to fulfill the JEXPO eligibility criteria 2023 his/her candidature will be canceled at the time of admission. For more details, candidates can check the information below.
Nationality: Indian nationals are eligible to apply
Qualifying exam: The candidate needs to have passed the Class 10 exam conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks in English, Physical Science/Science, and Mathematics, among others.
Age limit: The candidate must be born no earlier than July 1, 2007.

The official authorities reopened the application form of JEXPO 2023 on May 3 at the official website. To fill the application form online, the candidates simply have to go to the online application portal and start the application process right away. The application process requires aspirants to fill and submit certain basic details. The application process is described briefly below.
Procedure to fill Online Application form of JEXPO 2023
Registration – Candidates have to register online using their email id and mobile number.
Filling of application form – In this step, the candidate have to fill different sections of the application form, like personal, academic and contact details.
Uploading of documents – When uploading scanned images of photograph and signature, care has to be taken that they are in the prescribed format.
Payment of application: The application fee for male candidates applying through online mode is Rs. 450; fee for female candidates is Rs. 225.
Submission of application form: Just check that the application form is complete in all respects before submitting it.

JEXPO 2023 Exam Pattern
The exam authorities has released the exam pattern of JEXPO 2023 in the official notification. Applicants appearing for the exam must refer to the exam pattern for their preparations. JEXPO Exam Pattern 2023
The exam will be conducted in either offline (pen-paper-based) mode or online mode.
Answers have to be entered on OMR answer sheets by darkening circles using black/blue ball-point pen.
The duration of the paper will be 2 hours.

JEXPO 2023 Answer Key
After the conclusion of the exam, the exam authorities will release the JEXPO answer key at the official website. The answer key of JEXPO 2023 will be released separately for all the sets - A, B, C and D. JEXPO answer key comprises the correct answer to all the questions asked in the exam. With the help of JEXPO answer key, applicants can calculate their estimated marks before the declaration of the result.

Mode of Counselling: Online, Offline
The counselling of JEXPO 2023 will be conducted for all aspirants who will qualify the entrance exam. Candidates will have to get themselves registered for JEXPO counselling within the specified dates. Around 19,000 self-finance diploma seats are offered through the JEXPO 2023 counselling process, not including management quota seats. Online counselling will be open to valid rank holders only, who registers for counselling and participate in the choice filling. There are around 565 choices to pick from; please note here choice is a combination of institute and branch.
It is recommended that candidates pick as many choices – in the order of priority – to maximize their chances of admission. The allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank of the candidates and also choices filled by them. Meanwhile, the special offline counselling will be open to only those candidates who haven’t been offered a seat in any of the online rounds.

YES, you can do polytechnic after graduation but you have to clear your priorities. I have said this because, most students generally do polytechnic after class 10th or class 12th, and so, doing polytechnic after graduation can be a waste of time.
polytechnic or diploma courses can be done after passing 10th course or after passing 12th course . After the diploma courses you can opt for graduation in relevant discipline.

To apply for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course, the minimum eligibility norms are, Firstly, the applicant must have passed Class 10 from a familiar board and it is compulsory to study Mathematics in the qualifying exam.
Many of the institutes accept the admission of students for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering based on state-level engineering diploma entrance exams.
Candidates must fill the application form for the entrance examination and appear in the test on scheduled dates. After taking the test., the shortlisted candidates must attend counselling process to confirm sear allotment is the respective institute.
Some states conduct Centralized Counselling for admissions for diploma in Mechanical Engineering course where the candidates will have to exercise the options. The seat allocation will be done on the basis of candidate’s preference and merit.
You can also apply for direct admission in various private colleges that offers his course. The admission will be based on Class 10 th marks.

JEXPO is a state level polytechnic entrance test that is being conducted by the West Bengal State council of Technical Education every year for the candidates that want admissions in various diploma courses.
The basic requirement for giving this examination is the candidate must have passed their High school and has scored at least 35% in the qualifying examination.
So, even ARTS student can give the JEXPO examination.
