JEEDEC 2023 Eligibility Criteria
JEEDEC 2023 eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed the Diploma examination in the same branch to which they are applying for admission from a UGC recognized Indian University or Government/Statutory Body with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point in aggregate for the general category and 45% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD candidates.
In case the final result is published in the grade point system only, the candidates must convert the same into equivalent percentage marks using either the conversion formula of the concerned board/university (if available) or the AICTE advised formula. The formula for conversion of grade point to percentage marks is as follows:
Percentage marks = (Grade Point – 0.75) x 10 (when Grade Point is in a scale of 10)
If the grade point is not in a scale of 10, the obtained grade point must be converted to a grade point in a scale of 10 on a pro rata basis.
Final year students may also apply for JEEDEC 2023, but their admission or studentship will be cancelled unless they submit their final result by 30th October 2023. It is important for candidates to carefully read and understand the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

JEEDEC Application Fees
All applicants for admission to UG (Evening) Engineering programs at Jadavpur University are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 400/- (four hundred only) at the time of application.
