JEECUP 2024 - JEEC, Uttar Pradesh will release the JEECUP 2024 admission notification online at the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who wish to get admission to the Polytechnic institutes / colleges in Uttar Pradesh have to appear for the JEECUP exam. To appear for the UP Polytechnic exam 2024, candidates need to complete the registration process online. Candidates who pass class 10 with 35% aggregate marks and at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be able to fill out the JEECUP 2024 application form. To prepare for the exam, candidates must go through the JEECUP 2024 exam syllabus and pattern beforehand. Students who qualify the UP Polytechnic exam 2024 will have to participate in the counselling process.

About JEECUP exam 

JEECUP is an annual state-level entrance exam that is conducted in online mode as a computer-based exam by the Joint Entrance Examination Council to give admission to government and private participating polytechnic institutes of the state. The authorities conduct the JEECUP exam for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The JEECUP 2024 question paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. As per its marking scheme, candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct response and 1 mark will get deducted for every incorrect response.

Age limit: The applicant should have attained a minimum of 14 years of age as of July 1, 2023. There is no upper age limit for JEECUP 2023.

• Registration - Candidates need to visit the JEECUP official website and click on the registration link. For registration, candidates have to enter their name, parent’s name, Aadhaar number, valid email ID, contact number, and date of birth. They also have to generate a password for future logins. 

• Filling the application form - Once registration is over, candidates need to complete the application form. The application form details will include domicile, academic qualifications, and category details. Also, they have to select cities in order of preference for the JEECUP 2024 exam centre.

• Application fee - At last candidates have to pay the JEECUP 2024 application fee. The fee can be paid both online (net banking/credit card/debit card) and offline mode (e-challan). If a candidate proceeds with offline payment, then he/she has to first generate the e-challan and make the payment at any branch of the State Bank of India.

• Download the admit card and take a printout of it for future reference.

The answer key of JEECUP 2024 will comprise of correct answers for the question framed in the UP Polytechnic exam. Candidates can use the Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic answer key to verify the answer and predict the probable marks. Moreover, candidates will be able to raise objection against the answer key. If a candidate wishes to raise a challenge, then he/she has to pay Rs. 100 for every question. The online window challenge will be open only for a specified period.

Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh will declare the JEECUP 2024 result online at the website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Mode of Counselling: Online

The authority will conduct the JEECUP 2024 counselling in online mode. The details regarding the JEECUP counselling will be updated at the website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who qualify the JEECUP 2024 exam will be able to participate in the counselling process. UP Polytechnic counselling comprises of registrations, choice filling, seat allotment, submitting willingness, and reporting to the allotted institute. To participate in the JEECUP counselling 2024, candidates need to complete the registration before the last date, 

The seat will be allotted on the basis of options entered, merit rank, and category of the candidate. Candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 3,000 (if seats allotted) through MOPS to confirm the seats.

Candidates who have been allotted seats will have two options, either to freeze the seat or float. If the candidate is open to up-graduation, then he/she needs to opt for float, or else opt for freeze.
