How to fill ISI Admission Test Application Form?
Candidates must first register and create their account. They must log in to the account to fill the ISI Admission Test Application Form which is of two pages.
They must fill in Personal Details, Academic Details and Address details.
They must then upload the digital copies of their recent photograph and signature.
Before submission, candidates are advised to peruse the details entered and then confirm the submission of their application form for the ISI Admission Test.
After submission, candidates are required to note their application number.
They must then download bank challan and print it. Thereafter, they must log out and go to the bank to pay the fees.
For online payment, candidates have to wait for two days after submission and then log in to pay the fees through Net banking or Debit/Credit Cards.
Candidates must enter their date of birth and the application number to pay.
Payment through SBI Challan:
After printing the e-challan, candidates must ensure that they sign on the given space.
Two days after printing the e-challan, candidates must pay the application fees in cash at the nearest SBI Branch.
Application status: Candidates must check their application status after two working days from the payment date. To check, they must log in.
ISI Admission Test Eligibility Criteria
For M.Tech in Computer Science: Candidates must have passed any one of the following-
Master's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Physics/ Electronic Science/Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology
B.E/ B.Tech or any an equivalent qualification considered equivalent
Candidates, who have passed AMIE or, GRADIETE or, DOEACC ‘B’ Level are also eligible
GATE qualified candidates must have scored above the pre-determined cut off marks as decided by the ISI Selection Committee to be exempt from the entrance test. Such candidates have to face a direct personal interview.
For M.Tech in Quality, Reliability and Operations Research: Candidates must have passed any one of the following-
Master’s Degree in Statistics
Master’s Degree in Mathematics with Probability and Statistics as major subjects
B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent in any discipline
PG diploma in SQC & OR from ISI
Other mandatory criteria for M.Tech in Quality, Reliability and Operations Research-
Candidates must also have Mathematics at their graduate level.
They must have secured a minimum of pass marks in Physics and Chemistry at the (10+2) level.
M.Tech in Quality, Reliability and Operations Research is offered in two streams-
Statistics Stream for candidates with qualifications other than Engineering/Technology
Engineering Stream for candidates with a B.Tech/B.E or equivalent
Important: Candidates have to appear for the ISI Admission Test even if they have qualified in GATE. There is no exemption for any candidates for this programme.

ISI Admission Test Counselling Details
Candidates, who have qualified in the ISI Admission Test or have valid GATE scores as per the pre-determined cutoff marks of ISI Kolkata, have to attend the Counselling of ISI Admission Test in person. GATE scores are considered only for M.Tech in Computer Science. ISI Kolkata does not accept GATE scores for M.Tech QROR. It is mandatory that M.Tech applicants for Quality, Reliability and Operations Research appear for the ISI Admission Test and qualify in it. The ISI Admission Test Counselling is on the basis of the scores in the ISI Admission Test or valid GATE scores (for M.Tech CS) as per the norms of ISI Kolkata.
ISI Admission Test Counselling Procedure is as follows:
Candidates, who have been selected, have to appear for a personal interview as per the date and time notified in the ISI Admission Test Result announcement.
Shortlisted candidates have to first report at least 30 minutes to the scheduled time for the ISI Admission Test Counselling.
They must first report to the Medical Welfare Unit located in the ISI Hostel campus on any day during the specified dates for obtaining their medical fitness certificate.
Candidates must bring with them the recent clinical test reports of their Blood Sugar (P.P.) and Urine (routine examination) done recently at any reputed and standard clinical laboratory. The ISI Kolkata Medical Officer needs to examine the candidates and his/her reports in order to issue a Medical Fitness Certificate.
After obtaining the Medical Fitness Certificate, candidates must report to the Dean’s office along with their guardian.
Candidates must bring their marks sheets, original certificates along with self-attested copies and 3 passport size recent colour photographs for the ISI Admission Test Counselling.
SC/ST/OBC/PC category candidates must bring the supporting documents to claim the reservation.
Candidates selected after the personal interview are required to pay the requisite fees and confirm their admission.
Final year students are accorded provisional admission with the condition that they furnish the proof of their passing by the given dates.
