About CG PET 2021
Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) conducts the CG PET exam for admission to various UG engineering programmes offered by its participating institutes in the state. Admissions will be done on the basis of score secured by the candidates in the CG PET 2021 entrance exam. CG PET 2021 application form will be released tentatively in the 3rd week of March. CG PET 2021 exam will be conducted as a pen and paper-based mode across 28 cities in the country. As per the previous year's CG PET exam dates, the entrance exam will be held tentatively in the 3rd week of May.
The admit card of CG PET will be published by the exam authorities in online mode tentatively in the 1st week of May. The authorities will start the CG PET counselling process in the 1st week of June tentatively. The shortlisted candidates will have to participate in the CG PET 2021 counselling process. The qualified candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank secured in the qualifying exam, preference of colleges and courses and availability of seats.

To appear for CG PET 2021, candidates will have to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. Mentioned below is the CG PET 2021 eligibility criteria for candidate’s reference:
Qualifying examination: Must pass class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with physics and mathematics as the compulsory subjects. Candidates can have chemistry, biotechnology, biology, technical vocational courses as their optional subjects in class 12 or equivalent exam.
Qualifying Marks: General category candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying exam. While the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/female and PWD) should have a minimum aggregate of 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
Age Criteria: Applicant should not be less than 17 years as on December 31, 2021. While the upper age limit is 30 years. That is, candidates should not be more than 30 years as on July 1 of the exam year. For reserved category, there is 3 years relaxation in the upper age limit.

CG PET result 2021 - Tie Breaking Rules:
In the case of two or more candidates will have the same marks in CG PET 2021, inter-se-merit will be followed. Mentioned below is the inter-se-merit rule that will be followed:

As already notified CG PET 2020 is cancelled so the admission process of 2020 for BE courses admission are based on merit that is on 12 marks, for those who are of outside the state the admission would be taken on jee mains marks.
The date for applying for application form is already closed on 30 June.
No new dates of registration have been given since then due to the commencement of JEE mains exam.
