Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai (VIT Mumbai) is a private college established in 1999. The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Government of Maharashtra. The college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, Mumbai. The VIT Mumbai courses include B.Tech., M.Tech., MMS and Ph.D. Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai courses are offered in branches like Computer Science Enginerring, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, General Management and Information Technology. The VIT Mumbai admissions are done through a Centralised Admission Process (CAP). MHT-CET or JEE Main scores are accepted for VIT Mumbai B.Tech admissions while GATE scores are accepted for M.Tech admissions. VIT Mumbai MMS selection process includes qualifying for MAH-MBA-CET and appearing for the counselling process.
As per NIRF 2023, 345 UG students were placed out of 585 and 62 PG students were placed out of 132 students during VIT Mumbai placements. College Infrastructure
Very Nice and Elegant Infrastructure, looks more like a mall than normal boring building structure colleges. Vidyalankar Institute of Technology has various Cafeteria's and Canteens for lunchs, breakfast and snacks. VIT also have DEN where one can enjoy games like 8 ball pool, Air hockey, Tabel Tennis, chess, Carrom, also Computer games like CSGO, mortal kombat and also we have 2 PS4. There are multiple separate grounds for Cricket, football and batminton, Volleyball, basketball.

Looks like a mall. With amazing amenities, a canteen, state of the art auditorium, and libraries with a wide array of books ranging from academic journals to guides and textbooks. Time well spent by students and the learning experience is enhanced.

The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are amongst the very best. Chemistry, physics, computer Labs are well maintained. Hostel and transport facilities are also provided.The food in canteen is hygienic everything is good.

VIT Pune is better than VIT Mumbai. Almost 95% of the students have got placed in different fields according to their interest in the last 10 years. As per data of TCP, the highest salary package offered is 1.2cr . The average salary package offered was approximately 9 LPA in the last year, while this year, the highest salary package offered was 44 LPA and the average salary package offered was 8 LPA-9 LPA.
Teachers are very supportive and are available at any time if you need. . They have vast knowledge in their field and impart immense knowledge as well as sometimes make aware of this world that helps you shape your personality!

Dear candidate its great that you have profound interest towards computer science engineering course as your career option. When you consider MIT Alandi this college is extremely study centric, only students with good academics receive placements. Whereas VIT Mumbai is indeed a good choice, sophisticated infrastructure, top notch faculties, all the necessary facilities like wifi, labs, auditorium etc. The placements also offered by several IT companies with package of 4-5 LPA.
