What’s new in RIT Kottayam?

• B.Tech/B.Arch (Regular) and B.Tech (LET) Spot admissions will be conducted on 30 October 2023. 

• GATE 2024 examination will be conducted from 3 February 2024 to 11 February 2024.

• The KEAM 2024 registration date will be notified by the  Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala through the official website.

RIT Kottayam

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam was established in 1991 under the Government of Kerala. The institute is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam University, Thiruvananthapuram. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade. RIT Kottayam courses include B.Tech, B.Arch., M.Tech and MCA. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology admissions to B.Tech programmes are based on the performance of candidates in KEAM. RIT Kottayam B.Arch selection process is through NATA scores and scores obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination. For RIT Kottayam M. Tech programmes, valid GATE scores are considered. As per the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology MCA admission process, candidates must attend and qualify for the state-wide entrance examination conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology.  The career guidance and placement cell of the institute conducts recruitment drives for various companies and provides aptitude training, career guidance, mock interviews, communication and soft skill development. During RIT Kottayam placements, 225 students were placed from different departments. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam provides various academic and infrastructural facilities to the students and faculty members of the Institute including a central library, canteen, cafeteria, hostels, auditorium, seminar hall, departmental labs and transportation facility.
