WBJEE Counselling 2020 - West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will commence the registration process of WBJEE 2020 counselling tentatively in the fourth week of June. All of those candidates who have qualified WBJEE will have to register and fill their preferred choices. While filling their choice of college and course, the candidates are requested to do it in the order of preference. The required fee for the counselling of WBJEE 2020 also has to be paid by the candidates. The authorities will be conducting three rounds of WBJEE counselling 2020. JEE Main candidates will also be able to participate in WBJEE 2020 counselling. Allotment of seats will be done as per the merit of the candidates as well as selected preferences and availability of seats. Candidates can check the detailed process of WBJEE 2020 counselling to know how it is conducted by the authorities. By being familiar with the counselling process, the candidates will be able to sail through the procedure without any hitches. WBJEE 2020 counselling will commence tentatively from the fourth week of June.

Step 1 - Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to register for the counselling of WBJEE 2020. Candidates have to make sure that all of the details submitted are correct since it cannot be edited after submission. It is to be noted that for all rounds of allotment, there is only one registration period. The given steps can be followed by the candidates to complete the registration process:

Click on the counselling registration link
Candidates will have to click on “New Candidate Registration”. Option to register through WBJEE or JEE Main or both will be provided to the candidates.
Those candidates who opt to register through WBJEE will have to provide their respective application number, roll number, name and date of birth.
JEE Main 2020 candidates will also have to enter their respective application number, roll number, name and date of birth.
If both channels have been opted, the candidate can enter the details of both the examinations.
Click on Submit.
Step 2 - Payment of Counselling Fee: After registration, the candidates will be required to pay the counselling fee. Candidates will be able to pay the fee in online mode i.e., debit card/credit card/net banking. It is to be noted that the counselling fee is not refundable in nature.

Step 3 - Filling and Locking of Choices: Next, the registered candidates will have to fill their choice of colleges and courses in online mode. The choices have to be selected in the order of preference. Editing and locking of the selected choices has to be done before the specified final date. If the candidates are unable to lock their choices before the final date then the system will automatically lock the last saved choices. A print out of the filled choices has to be taken out for future reference.
Step 4 - Seat Allotment: The authorities will allot seats to the registered candidates on the basis of their merit, selected preferences and availability of seats. Three rounds of seat allotment will be conducted by the authorities. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status after logging in using their credentials. Individual allotment letters will not be sent to the candidates. To download the online seat allotment letter, the candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (e-challan of Allahabad Bank).
Step 5 - Document Verification: Selected candidates will have to report to their respective reporting centres and get their documents verified. The required fee also has to be paid by the candidates. The following list of documents have to be presented at the reporting centres for verification purposes:
WBJEE 2020 result/rank card
WBJEE 2020 provisional allotment letter
Confirmation page of WBJEE 2020
Admit card or certificate of 10th standard (or equivalent) examination for name and age verification.
10th standard (or equivalent) mark sheet for English subject mark verification
Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates)
Physically challenged certificate for PwD category candidates
Income certificate (if applicable)
Domicile certificate (if applicable)
JEE Main 2020 result (if applicable)
‘Yes Upgradation’ or ‘No Upgradation’ option form.
State Aided/Govt. Institutes
Step 6 - Reporting to Allotted Institute: Finally, the candidates will have to report to their respective allotted institute for confirmation of admission. The provisional allotment letter issued also has to be presented at their respective institute. The candidates will also have to carry original and photocopies of their documents.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) board has decided to advance the WBJEE 2020 by 10 weeks. The 2020 WBJEE exam, which was earlier scheduled to be held on April 19 next year, will now likely to be conducted on February 2, 2020.
The Exam is already held on 2nd February.The answer keys will come soon.

It is quite difficult to tell if it is general merit rank or category rank as you have not mentioned for which course the cut off is and we don't know the source from where you saw the cut off.But we can help you with the 2019 cut off for Jadavpur University for OBC-B category
As you can see these were the cut off in 2019 for OBC-B category, the cut off ranks are opening and closing rank respectively.
