Pachigolla Hemanth 23rd Jan, 2020

Hello Guruji Tech,

Yes , students of other states can apply for wbjee examination as well. To be eligible for wbjee you need to be at least 17 years old to be eligible while there's no upper age limit for wbjee examination .You should be appearing or have passed 10+2th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination with Mathematics and Physics along with anyone Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application as compulsory subjects. Also you need an  aggregate of 45% marks if you belong to  general category in the three compulsory subjects. For reserved category candidates, the aggregate marks to be scored is 40%. Candidates should have also qualified English with at least 30% marks. So you can give wbjee even if you belong to other state.

How many marks are received in bonus due to mistakes in wbjee paper on an average ?

Dhruv Anurag 22nd Jan, 2020

Greetings aspirant,

Not just WBJEE, but all competitive exams have rules and guidelines for bonus marks. Most of them give bonus marks under the following conditions:

1) There is a misprint in a particular question of the exam paper which wasn't resolved before conclusion of that exam.

2) There are no correct answer in the provided options for that particular MCQ question.

3) If there are multiple correct answers to a single correct type question.

Good luck.
