VITEEE 2020 - Vellore Institute of Technology has released the VITEEE 2020 application form in online mode on September 27. Earlier, the authorities had announced changes in the exam pattern by adding a new section of Aptitude which will comprise of 10 questions. Authorities have reduced 5 questions each from Physics and Chemistry. The authorities will soon also release the official VITEEE 2020 sample papers based on the new exam pattern. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will conduct VITEEE 2020 for B.Tech admissions into the participating campuses. VITEEE 2020 is held annually to provide allotment to eligible candidates according to their performance in the entrance examination. The application form of VITEEE 2020 is available now and candidates can submit their applications till February 29. All registered candidates are required to complete the slot booking procedure of VITEEE 2020 to generate and download the admit card. VITEEE 2020 will be conducted tentatively from the second to third week of April as a computer based test. In the previous year, VITEEE was conducted in 120 Indian cities and four foreign cities. The candidates will be able to know their secured scores and ranks in VITEEE 2020 through the official result. There are certain requirements that the candidates are advised to meet to be able to participate in the admission and examination procedure. The eligibility criteria of VITEEE 2020 will constitute these requirements and conditions. Before applying, the candidates are advised to check the VITEEE 2020 eligibility criteria.

However, NRIs can also apply for VITEEE 2020.
PIO/OCI candidates should have studied the preceding two years in schools located in India to be eligible for VITEEE 2020.
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 1998 will be eligible.
Should have completed 17 years of age as on July 1st of the admission year.
The candidates should have qualified or will be completing in 2020 any of the following examination:
10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE).
Intermediate or two year pre-University examination conducted by a recognized board/University.
High school certificate examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
Candidates from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will also be eligible. However, other open school candidates will not be eligible for VITEEE 2020.
General category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination.
For SC, ST, J&K and North Eastern state candidates, there is a relaxation of 10% in the aggregate marks.
The application form of VITEEE 2020 has been released in online mode on September 27. Since the application form will be released in two modes i.e., online and offline, the candidates can choose their preferred mode of application. It has to be noted that the ineligible candidates will be disqualified from the examination and admission process.
Step 1 - Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to register by submitting details such as name, date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number and email ID. The login password will be sent to the registered email ID and number of the candidate.
Step 2 - Filling of Application Form: Next, the candidates will have to fill the application form with valid personal, educational and qualifying examination details. The application number will be generated after the application form of VITEEE 2020 is submitted.
Step 3 - Payment of Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay the required application fee through online mode i.e., credit/debit card or net banking.
Step 4 - Uploading of Scanned Images: The final step is to upload scanned images of photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities. After uploading, the application form has to be submitted.
Application Fee - Rs. 1150 (including GST)
The offline application form of VITEEE 2020 can be accessed from the various post offices on payment of the application fee of 1250 in cash or Demand Draft for Rs. 1250/- in favour of 'Vellore Institute of Technology', in person payable at Vellore to get the application form. All of the details in the application form has to be written by a black ball point pen. The photograph has to be fixed at the designated place. Candidates will have to send the completed application form enclosed in an envelope by speed post or registered post.

The list of cities where the examination will be conducted will constitute the exam centres of VITEEE 2020. Candidates will be able to check the exam centres and decided their preferences. While filling out the application form, the candidates will have to select the exam centres as per their preference. Each state will conduct the examination in various cities under which there will be centres allotted.

VIT will be conducting the slot booking of VITEEE 2020 tentatively from the third week of March through the Online Test Booking System (OTBS). All registered candidates will be required to complete the slot booking procedure within the given time. The date and slots for the upcoming entrance examination can be selected through VITEEE 2020 slot booking. Since the authorities will conduct the slot booking in first-come-first-serve basis, the candidates are requested to complete the process as early as possible. The given steps can be followed by the candidates for slot booking:

Enter application number and password.
The preferred date and slot for the examination has to be selected. Test centre also has to be confirmed by the candidates.
After confirming the slot booking, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.
If the candidate fails to book a slot within the allotted time, then a slot will automatically be allotted as per the availability and information provided in the application form.
The admit card will be generated after the slot booking is completed.
The admit card of VITEEE 2020 will be issued after the slot booking process is completed by the authorities. The candidates will have to print out the admit card and keep it safe since it will be required on the examination day and in the further admission process too. Before downloading the admit card, the candidates are advised to check the details for any discrepancies which have to be corrected. VIT has released the VITEEE sample papers through its official website. The sample papers of VITEEE 2020 can be solved by the candidates on a regular basis while preparing for the upcoming entrance examination. VITEEE 2020 sample papers will help the candidates be familiar with the pattern of the examination and they will be able to self-evaluate their preparation. Using the sample papers, the candidates can practically apply what they have studied and know their mistakes so that it does not repeat later. VITEEE 2020 mock test will be released by the VIT authorities in online mode. The mock test will be a replica of the entrance examination and the candidates can use it for practice purposes. Candidates will be able to get familiar with the pattern of the examination and prepare well. No registration will be required to access the mock test. By using the mock test of VITEEE 2020, the candidates will also be able to learn how to manage their time efficiently.
VIT does not release the official answer key of VITEEE 2020. However, if released, the answer key will be updated here as soon as it is made available. The answer key will consist of the correct responses to the questions asked in the entrance examination. Using the answer key, the candidates will be able to check their answers with their correct responses and calculate the probable secured scores with the help of the official marking scheme.
Candidates can use the rank predictor of VITEEE 2020 to calculate their probable ranks using their estimated secured marks in the examination. VITEEE 2020 rank predictor, which is a tool created by Careers360, will be made available after the examination will be conducted. To use the rank predictor, the candidates will have to sign up using Google or Facebook account.
VIT will be releasing the result of VITEEE 2020 in online mode on April 30. Candidates will be able to check their secured scores and ranks through the result in online mode. Qualified candidates will also be informed about their result through and email to their registered ID. Those candidates who qualify the examination will be able to participate in the counselling and seat allotment procedure.

The counselling of VITEEE 2020 will be held for all eligible candidates in offline mode. All of the selected candidates will have to download their provisional letters and attend the counselling session as per their ranks and schedule. Document verification will be conducted by the authorities. Allotment of the candidates will be done as per their merit and preferences selected for admission. Availability of seats will also be a factor for allotment. Selected candidates will have to confirm their allotted seat and pay the required amount.

Candidates will have to pay a certain amount of money in the form of demand draft after being allotted during the counselling process. VIT is very good university for the engineering .As per previous year question paper vit entrance test is easier than jee main exam, and question is moderate to difficult level. you should study from ncert books for conception and follow vits past 10 years solved question books.
You need to be 17 years atleast by July 1st of the year of admission for being eligible for VITEEE. Now you will turn 16 years and 11 months by July 1st of 2020. You are few days short of being 17. So, unfortunately, you are not eligible for appearing VITEEE 2020.
