Ques - What is the Eligibility Criteria to apply for VITEEE?
Ans - For VITEEE, candidates need to have passed 10+2 from State or CBSE board with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Ques -What is the age limit for VITEEE?
Ans - Candidates should be born on or after July 1, 1996 as per VITEEE eligibility criteria 2018.

Ques - How many attempts can I make for VITEEE?
Ans - Candidates can appear in VITEEE only once.
Ques - I am a diploma student. Can I appy for VITEEE?
Ans - No, diploma candidates cannot apply for VITEEE 2018 exam.
Ques -How much should I have in Class 12 to apply for VITEEE?
Ans - Candidates must have 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology in aggregate in 10+2. However, candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories and North-East need 50% in aggregate in the above mentioned subjects.
Ques - I have taken a drop. Will it affect my admission?
Ans - In this case, candidates need to check the eligibility of 10+2 passing year, age limit as they have to be born on or after July 1, 1996 and class XII qualifying exams details. If they meet the criteria, they can apply. A drop will not make a difference in admissions.
Ques - If I have a gap after class 10, can I apply for VITEEE?
Ans - Candidates can appear in VITEEE only if they meet the eligibility criteria of passing year, qualifying marks and age limit.
Ques - I have failed in Class 12 and appeared for the exam again. Can I apply for VITEEE?
Ans - In such a case, candidates need to check the age limit as he or she must have completed 17 years as on July 1, 1996 and must have secured minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent exam. Minimum 50% marks are required in class 10+2 if candidates belong to SC or ST categories.
Ques - If I am Biology student but I have studied Physics & Chemistry, can I apply for VITEEE? Which courses will I be eligible for?
Ans - Candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be eligible for admission to B.Tech in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, ECE with spl. in Biomedical Engineering, B.Tech (Computer Science and Engg.) with specialty in Bioinformatics but after joining, candidates will have to register for Mathematics as bridge course and this is compulsory.
Ques - Is there any eligibility relaxation in VITEEE and for whom?
Ans - There is an eligibility relaxation for Jammu & Kashmir candidates, reserved category candidates like SC and ST and North East candidates coming from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Such candidates will have to score 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology in 10+2 or equivalent exam.
Ques - I belong to a North East state. What will be my eligibility for VITEEE be?
Ans - Candidates from North East need 50% aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology.

Ans - There is no reservation criteria for anyone in VITEEE.
Ques - Is there an NRI quota for VITEEE?
Ans - No, there is no quota for NRI's as admissions are open for all. PIO/ OCI candidates should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years.
