VIT B.Arch Admission 2020 - Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has started the registrations for VIT B.Arch 2020 admission on January 20. Candidates can submit the filled application form till the first week of June 2020. There will be no entrance exam and admissions will be based on the marks secured in higher secondary school examination and eligible NATA score. Shortlisted candidates will be called in for the counselling procedure of the admission of VIT B.Arch 2020 based on the merit list. Candidates will then have to report and get their documents verified. Seat allotment will be done based on the performance in the Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview(PI)/Skill Test and seat availability. Candidates applying for B.Arch at VIT are advised to go through the eligibility requirements prescribed by the authorities to make sure that they are eligible for admissions. Check the detailed eligibility criteria of VIT B.Arch 2020 admission.
Candidates must have been born on or after July 1, 1998.
Candidates must have studied in the Regular and Full-time category in higher secondary school examination.
He/She should have passed in class 12th or equivalent with 60% marks and with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
For SC/ST, J&K & North Eastern state candidates- He/She should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
The candidate must have a valid score in the NATA 2020.
The candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with the required marks.
The authorities have released the online application form of VIT B.Arch admission 2020. Candidates must fill and submit the application form on or before the deadline which will be in May 2020. After the submission of the online application form, the candidates are required to submit the printout of the application form along with all necessary documents to VIT, Vellore by post or directly in person.
Candidates can check the step by step procedure of filling the application form of VIT B.Arch mentioned below:
Step 1- Registration- Candidates must visit the official website to access the application form. They are then required to register by clicking on “New Applicant”
Step 2- Mobile Verification - Candidates will have to get the entered mobile number verified by entering the received OTP. Once the OTP is validated, a password will be sent on the registered email id.
Step 3- Fill the application form- Candidates are required to login using the email id and password to fill all the required details. Candidates will have to enter details like personal information, academic details, communication details, etc.
Step 4- Upload photograph and signature- Candidates are required to upload the Photo and Signature with the following dimensions:
Photograph Image : Size should be between 10 Kb and 200 Kb with the dimension of 3.5 CM X 4.5 CM.
Signature Image : Size should be between 10 Kb and 200 Kb with the dimension of 3.5 CM X 1.5 CM. Selfie photos are not allowed.
Step 5- Fee Payment- After entering all the required details, candidates will have to pay the online application fee using Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ PAYTM. It must be noted that the application fee is non-refundable.

Candidates are required to enclose the below mentioned documents along with the application form and send the hardcopy of the application with enclosures to the beow mentioned address through post within the prescribed date.

The authorities will release the merit list for VIT B.Arch 2020 admissions based on the marks secured in Higher secondary school examination and eligible NATA score. Candidates having their names listed in the merit list will be called in for the counselling and seat allotment procedure. The following details will be mentioned on the merit list:

Shortlisted candidates will be called in for VIT B.Arch counselling and seat allotment procedure. Candidates will have to report in person for the counselling and produce the required documents in original for verification, along with one-set of photocopies and a Demand Draft of Rs.50000 in favour of “Vellore Institute of Technology” payable at Vellore. Candidates will also have to pay the counselling and processing fee of Rs.10000+GST(18%) which will be non-refundable. Based on the Marks secured in NATA score with XII performance, the candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion / Personal Interview / skill test. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the above mentioned procedure.

There is a separate hostel available for girls and boys in the VIT campus.
Hostel accommodation will be provided for the students whose residence is more than 100 km radius from the VIT campus.

The first test of NATA was scheduled to be held in 19th april 2020. But due to the the lockdown in country for containment of COVID- 19 the NATA first test has been postponed.
The new exam dates will be released on the official website of NATA after the lockdownload is over.
