TS EAMCET 2020 - Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), Hyderabad will be responsible for TS EAMCET 2020, which will be held for admissions into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the participating state institutes. The eligibility criteria of TS EAMCET 2020 will consist of the requirements which the candidates will have to fulfil to participate in the examination and admission procedure. If the candidates are unable to meet the eligibility criteria, then they will be rejected from the allotment process.
Candidates must be of Indian nationality. However, Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will also be eligible for TS EAMCET 2020.
Should belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh and should also satisfy local/non-local status requirements.
Candidates should be 16 years old at the time of admission. No upper age limit.
However, in case of B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering) and B.Tech. (FT) candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December 2020 and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates (25 years for SC and ST candidates).
Should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) exam with Maths, Physics, Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology.
Candidates should have obtained atleast 45% marks as an aggregate in 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum aggregate mark is 40%.
Candidates will be able to access the application form of TS EAMCET 2020 tentatively from the first week of March in online mode. The final date to submit the application form will be different as per the inclusion of late fee payment. All of the information submitted in the application form must be valid in nature. The given steps can be followed by the candidates to fill the TS EAMCET 2020 application form:
Step 1 – Payment of Application Fee: Firstly, the candidates will have to pay the application fee through TS (AP) Online Centres or Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

Step 2 – Filling of Application Form: Next, the candidates will have to fill the application form with all of the required information. Photograph and signature of the candidates also has to be uploaded as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities. After checking all of the submitted details, the candidates will have to submit the application form.
Step 3 – Print out of Confirmation Page: Finally, the candidates will have to take a print out of the submitted application form. A photograph has to be affixed to the print out and attested by the Principal of the last attended/currently studying college or a Gazetted officer.
The candidates will be able to select their choice of TS EAMCET 2020 exam centres while filling the online application form. The exam centres of TS EAMCET 2020 are the venues where the examination will be conducted by the authorities. Allotment of exam centres will be done as per the preference of the candidates as well as availability of the seats. Details regarding the allotted centres will be present in the admit card.

Candidates are advised to check the syllabus of TS EAMCET 2020 before commencing their preparation process for the examination. TS EAMCET 2020 syllabus will consist of the topics and units which have to be studied by the candidates. The authorities will release the mock test of TS EAMCET 2020 to help the candidates prepare for the upcoming entrance examination. TS EAMCET 2020 mock test will be available in online mode and the candidates will be able to freely access it. The pattern of the mock test will be similar to the real examination and the candidates will be able to know the particulars regarding it. Candidates can excel in the examination if they practice by attempting mock tests on a regular basis.
JNTU Hyderabad will release the hall ticket of TS EAMCET 2020 tentatively in the third week of April in online mode. Only the registered candidates will be able to access the hall ticket which can be downloaded after logging in using the required credentials. The hall ticket has to be kept safely since the candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without it. JNTU Hyderabad will announce the result of TS EAMCET 2020 tentatively in the second week of June. The candidates will be able to check the result in online mode by providing the required credentials. Information such as scores and ranks secured in the examination will be present in the result. In the previous year, a total of 1,08,213 students had been qualified from the engineering stream, which was 82.47%. A total of 1,38,210 students were registered for appearing in the exam whereas 1,31,209 students appeared in the session of 2019.

The cutoff of TS EAMCET 2020 will act as a screening process for admissions into the participating institutes. The cutoff will consist of the minimum marks that the candidates will have to secure to have higher chances of admission. The authorities will prepare the cutoff by checking many factors related to the examination such as number of applicants, difficulty level, performance level, previous year cutoff trends and more. It should be noted that TS EAMCET 2020 cutoff will be different for each category, course and institute.
To qualify TS EAMCET 2020, the candidates have to secure minimum qualifying percentage of marks which is 25%. There is no minimum qualifying percentage for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will conduct the counselling of TS EAMCET 2020 for all qualified candidates. The registration process for the counselling will commence tentatively from the third week of June 2020. While registering for the counselling, the candidates will also have to select their choice of colleges and course in the order of preference. The required processing fee also has to be paid and the candidates will also have to book their preferred slot for the verification of documents. The entire process of TS EAMCET 2020 counselling will consist of the following steps:

After the payment, registration, document verification and choice filling process is over, the authorities will release the result of TS EAMCET 2020 seat allotment. Two rounds of seat allotment will be conducted by the authorities. Candidates will be able to check the seat allotment result in online mode by logging in using the required credentials. The authorities will allot seats as per the merit of the candidate, preferences selected, category and availability of seats. The allotment order has to be downloaded by the candidates and self reporting has to be done for confirmation of admission.
