TS EAMCET 2018: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced the TS EAMCET 2018 seat allotment for round 1 on June 8. The council had commenced the TS EAMCET 2018 counselling from May 25. Candidates who have qualified in the exam could pay the processing fee and register to participate in counselling and seat allotment. The result of TS EAMCET 2018 and rank card was released on May 19. Candidates participating in the counselling had to pay the processing fee, get their documents verified and enter their choices before seat allotment is announced on the basis of the merit of the candidates. Candidates from boards other than Telangana and Andhra have sent the declaration form after their results are declared to avail the ranks and participate in counselling. TS EXAMCET 2018 was conducted on May 4, 5 & 7. The hall ticket of TS EAMCET 2018 was released on April 21 till May 1. What's New in TS EAMCET 2018?
For the session 2018, JNTU Hyderabad conducted the entrance examination in online mode. The exam was held on May 4, 5 & 7, 2018.
The exam was held in English, Telugu and Urdu. Candidates from Urdu medium could attempt TS EAMCET 2018 in Urdu. They had to opt for the medium of the exam while filling the application form.
Changes in the normalization process have been introduced with the help of Prof. G.P. Rajasekhar from IIT Kharagpur.
There were 2 sessions per day with arrangements for about 25,000 students in one session.
- Mock tests were also announced to enable students to understand and acquaint themselves with the online tests.
The application fee was raised to Rs. 800 for General candidates and Rs. 400 for SC/ST candidates.
- There were 4 new test zones - Siddipet, Adilabad, Mahbubnagar & Kodad. Candidates could choose to change their exam centres with the new ones if they desired.
TS EAMCET 2018 had started awareness exam which allowed candidates to register for the practice examination.
The processing fee of TS EAMCET 2018 Counselling has been raised to Rs. 1200 (OC/BC Category) and Rs. 600 (SC/ST Category)

Steps to Check TS EAMCET 2018 Result

TS EAMCET 2018 Rank Card
The rank card of TS EAMCET 2018 has been made available separately for all candidates who attempted the entrance examination. All candidates are advised to download and save the rank card for future use. Registration number, hall ticket number and date of birth of the candidates have to be submitted to access the TS EAMCET rank card 2018. Ranking will be based on TS EAMCET 2018 normalized marks (75% weightage) and 10+2th standard marks (25% weightage).
JNTU released final answer key on May 19. The preliminary answer key of TS EAMCET 2018 was announced on May 9. By using the TS EAMCET answer key, the candidates were able to calculate the probable scores that they have secured before the results were announced. The candidates had to compare their responses with the correct answers and use the official marking scheme to calculate the secured scores. The released answer key was also open to challenge.
Candidates from boards other than AP and Telangana:
Candidates from other boards were required to fill the engineering declaration form to be allotted a rank. Registered candidates could download their hall ticket of TS EAMCET 2018 in online mode from April 21 to May 1. The hall ticket was an important document that all candidates were required to produce at the examination centre. Without the TS EAMCET 2018 hall ticket, the candidates were not allowed to attempt the entrance examination. All candidates had to download their hall ticket by entering their registration number, qualifying examination hall ticket number and date of birth. The candidates had to note that the hall ticket was not sent to the candidates in any other mode. Details regarding the candidate’s name, test centre, exam date and timings and more were available on the hall ticket of TS EAMCET.
How to Download TS EAMCET 2018 Hall Ticket
The candidate had to submit their registration number, hall ticket number of qualifying exam and date of birth.
After submitting the above-mentioned information, the hall ticket was displayed on the screen.
Before downloading the hall ticket, the candidates were requested to check the document for any mistakes.
Along with the TS EAMCET hall ticket 2018, the candidates had to submit a copy of the application form. Caste certificate should also be submitted by the candidates of reserved category.
All candidates were required to check the eligibility criteria of TS EAMCET 2018 before filling the online application form. Only those candidates who fulfil the criteria were allowed to attempt the entrance examination. The TS EAMCET 2018 eligibility criteria are listed below for references:
Nationality – The candidates should of Indian nationality or Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
Age Limit – 16 years of age should have been completed by the candidates at the time of admission. There is no upper age limit.
Domicile Requirements - The candidates should belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
Academic Qualification – Should have qualified their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology.
Marks Required – The candidates should have obtained 45% marks as an aggregate (40% marks for reserved category candidates).
The application form of TS EAMCET 2018 became available from March 4, 2018. All candidates had to fill and submit the online application form of TS EAMCET to be registered for the offline entrance examination. The given steps could be followed by the candidates to fill the TS EAMCET 2018 application form.
How to fill TS EAMCET 2018 Application Form
Step 1 – Payment of Application Fee: The candidates had to first pay the required application fees. Payment of fees can be done TS (AP) Online/ MEE Seva/ AP Online/ E-Seva/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.

Step 2 – Registration: During registration, the candidates had to submit their 12th standard hall ticket number, date of birth, caste, residential proof and more.
Step 3 – Filling of Details and Uploading of Documents: Personal and contact details of the candidates had to be submitted. The candidates also had to select their preferred examination centre. Photograph and signature as per the specifications required also had to be uploaded.
Step 4 – Print the Confirmation Page: After submitting the application form, the candidates were advised to print out the confirmation page. A photograph had to be pasted in the printout and had to be attested by a Gazetted officer/ Principal of the college last attended or currently studying.
Candidates who made mistake in the details of their application form could correct the details from April 6 to 9, 2018. They could also correct any discrepancies in the images uploaded. Candidates were advised to ensure that all corrections were done properly as there was no further chance given for any editing after submission was done.
A total of 27 exam centres in Telangana and Hyderabad have been listed out as the exam centres of TS EAMCET 2018. While filling the online application form, the candidates had to select their choice of exam centres. Allotment of exam centres was done through the admit card which was released by the admission committee.

At least 25% of the marks have to be secured by the candidates to qualify for the counselling and seat allotment process.
