TANCET 2015 Eligibility Criteria - Candidates who wish to avail admissions to the PG Engineering courses in Tamilnadu must meet the academic criteria as specified by Anna University. The Eligibility Criteria for TANCET 2015 lists out the academic qualifications needed to apply for admissions to the M.E/M.Tech programmes in Tamilnadu. Candidates must satisfy the Eligibility Criteria of TANCET 2015 like the academic qualifications, pass percentage and age limit if any. TANCET 2015 Eligibility Criteriais as follows
Candidates must have passed B.E. / B.Tech. in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST)OR Candidates must have passed the certificate programmes of professional bodies or societies (e.g. A.M.I.E.) recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India as equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. OR Degree holders only with 2 Years regular full time experience in the relevant field after successful completion of the course including project work. An experience certificate is to be produced by the candidates with the following qualifications:
10+3 Years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.
Industrial experience for AMIE candidates:
10 + 2 years H.Sc. + AMIE (with 2 years experience)
10 + 3 Years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE (with 2 years experience)
The following candidates are ineligible for TANCET 2015:
Candidates with B.E./B.Tech degrees in Distance mode/Week end courses
Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10+2 or 3 years diploma and 3/4 years degree programme
TANCET 2015 Candidates may fall under the following categories:
A. Gate Category
(i) Candidates with a valid GATE 2015 score and qualifying marks for assistantship in the appropriate discipline of Engineering / Technology.
(ii) Candidates with a valid GATE 2015 score and qualifying marks for assistantship in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) papers
Note: Candidates with XE/XL papers in GATE 2015 must appear for TANCET 2015 also.
B. Non - Gate Category: Must appear for TANCET 2015
C. Sponsored Category: Must appear for TANCET 2015
Candidates employed and sponsored by the Government organisations, Government aided educational institutions and registered professional architects with a minimum of 5 years professional experience come under this category.

No there is no correction window for TANCET exam that means you have no option for making changes or corrections in your application form after the final submission. If your signature does not match with the signature you have submitted in the application from then it will be a problem. The only way is to sign the same signature you have uploaded in the admit card during the exam.

TANCET exam is being conducted by Anna University on February 29 on behalf of Government of Tamil Nadu. The exam is mainly for admission in Tamil Nadu colleges, hence the exam centres which are alloted are situated only in the state. Henceforth, candidates were not given any option to select Hyderabad as an exam centre.
