TANCET 2020 - Anna University has released the marksheet for all the candidates who appeared for TANCET 2020. Previously, the authorities had declared the result of the entrance exam on March 11, 2020. Candidates can download their marksheet by logging in using their email ID and password. The authorities had conducted the TANCET 2020 exam on March 1 for admission to M.E./M.Tech/ M.Arch/M.Plan courses in Tamil Nadu. The exam was conducted as a pen-paper based examination having three parts - I, II and III wherein Part I & II was compulsory for all while part III was based on the discipline selected by the candidates. For TANCET 2020, 10485 candidates registered for admissions into M.E./M.Tech courses. Candidates having valid GATE score were not required to appear for TANCET 2020. The hall ticket for appearing in the TANCET exam was released on February 13. Registrations for TANCET 2020 was available from January 7 to February 4, 2020. The cutoff of TANCET 2020 is the minimum marks required by the candidates to be eligible for admission in the participating institutes. TANCET 2020 Counselling through TANCA
The counselling of TANCET 2020 will be conducted by TANCA. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of TANCET 2020 result and GATE scores will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Candidates will have to lock their choices of colleges and courses during TANCET 2020 counselling. The final seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit, availability of seats, category and preferences set by the candidates.

Candidates are advised to check the minimum eligibility criteria of TANCET 2020 beforehand. If a candidate does not fulfil TANCET 2020 eligibility criteria then his/her candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the admission process. Candidates should be residents of Tamil Nadu.
However, candidates belonging to other states will also be eligible if they satisfy the eligibility conditions set by the authorities.
Candidates should have qualified B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch in relevant discipline.
Candidates should have completed a Master's degree in the relevant branch of Science.
Candidates should have passed 10+2+AMIE* or 10+3 years of diploma awarded by the State Board of Technical Education + AMIE*.
Candidates must score at least 50% marks in 10+2 examination.
However, the minimum percentage marks for SC/ST candidates is 45%.
Candidates who have qualified GATE in 2018/2019/2020 and have valid score cards will be eligible to apply.
However, if a candidate has passed GATE examination in Engineering Sciences (XE) or Life Sciences (XL) papers, he/she will have to attempt TANCET 2020.
Candidates could access TANCET 2020 application in online mode from January 7. The application form of TANCET 2020 had to be submitted before the last date i.e., February 4 in order to appear in the entrance test and participate in the admission process. Candidates could refer to the steps mentioned below to fill the application form of TANCET 2020.
Steps to fill TANCET 2020 application form
Step 1: Registration- Candidates had to first register by entering details like name, mobile number, email Id, etc. Candidates received their User ID and password after successful registration.
Step 2: Filling of Application Form- Once the registration was done, candidates had to login to the portal and fill all the other details of the application form like personal, educational and communication details. Candidates were also required to select their preferred choices of exam centres in this step.
Step 3: Uploading of Documents- After filling all the details, candidates had to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as specified by the authorities.
Step 4: Payment of Fee- In the next step, candidates had to pay the application fee of TANCET 2020 in online mode. The payment could be done through credit/debit card or internet banking.

Step 5: Submission of Application Form- In the last step, candidates had to finally submit their application form. You have not mentioned for which degree as TANCET has released result for MTech/ME , MBA, MCA.
Your TANCET rank will be taken for counseling process. You can go for general or categorical rank. Your categorical rank will be possibly lower than general rank. It will make you eligible for more college options.
You can choose AU which will be the best option. You can also go for colleges which are affiliated under AU. You can also apply for top private colleges.
As you have not mentioned degree it will hard to suggest college. Search a suitable one for yourself.

TANCET 2020-My actual mark is 16 with percentile mark of 65.293 in mechanical engineering stream. Im belonging to SC which college will i get.
As per your percentile score you can apply for tier 2-3 colleges. Tier 2 colleges are AU and colleges which is affiliated under AU. For tier 3 you can apply for government college and other private college.
If you have reservation category then it will help you to get better options.
Cutoff list will be released prior to counseling so stay updated and apply accordingly.

There are low chances as your score is very less. If you have reservation category then you can apply for it on the basis of your categorical rank.
Choose private college for security option so that you don't miss admission option.
If you apply for colleges in your residential state then you can use home state quota. You will get little bit help in terms of college option.
