TANCET 2019 - Anna University has announced the result of TANCET 2019. Candidates can check their result by logging in using their email ID and password. TANCET 2019 was conducted on June 23 for admission to M.Tech courses in all the participating institutes. The hall ticket for TANCET 2019 was released on June 15. The TANCET 2019 application form was released on May 8 in online mode and candidates were allowed to submit the application form till May 31, 2019. TANCET 2019 was conducted in offline mode for all registered candidates on June 23. The examination consisted of three parts - Part I and II compulsory for all while Part III was based on the discipline selected by the candidates. Direct admissions are also offered to GATE qualified candidates, however, if they have qualified XE or XL papers then they had to attempt TANCET 2019. The counselling for TANCET and GATE qualified candidates is being done through TANCA 2019. Anna University has declared the result of TANCET 2019 in online mode. Anna University has announced the secured scores and ranks through the TANCET 2019 result.

How to check TANCET 2019 Result?

  • The candidates will have to provide their registered email ID and password.

  • Click on “Submit”

  • The result will be displayed on the screen

  • The candidates will have to download the result for future purposes.

TANCET Eligibility Criteria 2019

Before filling the application form, the candidates were advised to check the eligibility criteria of TANCET 2019. Certain specifications or requirements outlined by the authorities for the candidates constitute the TANCET 2019 eligibility criteria.

  • Domicile - The candidate should belong to Tamil Nadu. Other State candidates will also be eligible for admissions, however, the eligibility conditions will be specified by the admitting authority/University.

  • Academic Requirements - Candidates should have qualified B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch in their relevant discipline OR completed Master’s degree in the relevant branch of Science OR 10+2+AMIE* or 10+3 years of diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education + AMIE*.

  • Qualifying Marks - General/OBC candidates will be required to score 50% in their 10+2th qualifying examination whereas for SC/ST category candidates, the qualifying marks in 45%.

  • GATE - Those candidates who qualify and secure valid GATE scores in the session of 2017/2018/2019 will be able to apply for admissions through TANCET. However, those candidates who have passed GATE examination in XE or XL papers will be required to attempt the TANCET 2019 examination.

TANCET Application Form 2019

The authorities released the application form of TANCET 2019 on May 8 and was available till May 31. It was important for the candidates to fill and submit the TANCET 2019 application form to participate in the entrance examination. Candidates who qualified in GATE XE or XL were also required to submit the filled application form.

  • Registration - Firstly, the candidates had to register for the examination by submitting their name, date of birth, gender, email ID and password.

  • Filling of Application Details - Next, the candidates had to fill the application form of TANCET 2019 with the required information. All submitted personal, academic and communication details should have been valid in nature. Selection of preferred paper also had to be done.

  • Uploading of Documents - The candidates had to upload scanned images of their passport size photograph. It must be remembered that the photograph had to be scanned as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

  • Payment of Application Fee - The required application fee had to be paid by the candidates in online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card).

  • Submission of Filled Application Fee - Finally, the candidates were advised to review whatever information they had provided till now before the final submission. After reviewing, the candidates had to submit the filled application form. The filled application form had to be printed out by the candidates for reference purposes.

Marking Scheme

For every correct answer, 1 mark will be deducted. ⅓ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

TANCET Syllabus 2019

While preparing for the examination, the candidates were requested to check the syllabus of TANCET 2019. Through the TANCET 2019 syllabus, the candidates could check which topics and units had to be studied for the entrance examination. It should be noted that Part I and II was compulsory while Part III was according to the candidate’s preference.

TANCET Sample Paper 2019

Another method for examination preparation was to solve the sample paper of TANCET 2019. Practising using the TANCET 2019 sample papers allowed the candidates to be familiar with the exam pattern and practically applying whatever they had studied. Mistakes could be checked by attempting the sample papers and the candidates could work towards rectifying the mistakes made.

TANCET Hall Ticket 2019

The TANCET 2019 hall ticket was released by Anna University on June 15 in online mode. Registered candidates could access the hall ticket of TANCET 2019 in online mode. TANCET 2019 hall ticket consisted of details of the examination timings and venue. It was important for the candidates to produce the hall ticket at the examination venue, otherwise the candidates were not allowed to participate in the entrance examination. If the candidates misplaced or lost their hall ticket, then they could apply for a duplicate copy after paying Rs. 100.

Steps to download TANCET 2019 Hall Ticket

  • The candidates will have provide their User ID and password.

  • Click on “Submit”

  • The hall ticket will be displayed on the screen and the candidates will have to check for any discrepancies.

  • The candidates will have to download and print out the hall ticket of TANCET 2019.

TANCET Cutoff 2019

The cutoff of TANCET 2019 will act as a screening process for admissions into the participating institutes. The minimum scores required to have higher chances of admission will be present in the TANCET 2019 cutoff. While preparing the cutoff, a number of factors related to the entrance examination will be present in the TANCET cutoff 2019. The separate cutoff will be released for GATE and TANCET qualified candidates.

TANCET Counselling through TANCA 2019

Candidates who qualify TANCET and GATE have to participate in the counselling session conducted through Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA) 2019. The merit list for TANCET and GATE candidates is released separately. During the counselling, allotment will be done as per the candidates’ merit, category, preferences and more. To participate in the counselling, the candidates had to register for TANCA 2019 and go through the counselling process.

As per your requirement, i would say that as you would love yo do mtech in food technology under anna university, you need to appear for tancet and only if you qualify you would get admission into the colllege.

You must have done btevh so you want to do mtech mow. Than the exam will have the common syllabus of your btech course for admission into mtech.
