SRMJEEE Exam Pattern 2020 - SRM University has released the SRMJEEE 2020 exam pattern along with major changes. Along with the existing sections of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, the authorities have added two new sections - English and Aptitude. Also, the total number of questions and the marking scheme has been changed by the exam authorities. Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance test must check the exam pattern of SRMJEEE 2020. The SRMJEEE exam pattern will provide some important details to the candidates such as the knowledge of question distribution, question type, marking scheme etc. This will help to improve their exam preparation.

The examination mode is online and its a computer-based test (online mode).
The total duration of the entrance test is two hours and 30 minutes.
The question paper consists of 5 subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Aptitude. Candidates opting for B.Tech Biotechnology have to appear for Biology instead of Mathematics.
There will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
The total number of questions is 125.
One mark will be provided for every correct answer.
There is no negative marking.

The admit card is an important document which is used for authentication purpose of the candidates for entering into the examination hall. It should be in good condition and not tampered with. Candidates will not be allowed to enter into the exam centres without a proper admit card.
Candidates should reach the exam venue on time. i.e. they need to report at the exam centre one hour before the exam time. So if the test slot is for 9:30 am, candidates have to report on or before 8:30 am.
They will not be allowed to carry any materials like pencils, pens, papers, rulers etc. inside the exam hall.
Electronic items like mobiles, calculators, pagers etc. are also prohibited from the exam hall.
It is important to keep the admit card in a safe place as it will be needed again during counselling and seat allotment for identification purposes.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology will conduct SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) from April 12 to 20 for admission to B.Tech courses offered by the institute.
