SITEEE 2020 - Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) has released the application form of SITEEE 2020 on January 22. Candidates can now fill the application form till April 16, 2020. SITEEE 2020 will be conducted on May 2 (2:30 PM to 5 PM). Formerly known as SET, SITEEE 2020 will be held as a computer based test for all eligible candidates. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form of SITEEE 2020. The authorities will release the admit card of SITEEE 2020 on April 22. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of SITEEE ranks. However, MHT CET/JEE Main qualified candidates will also be eligible for admissions. These candidates will also have to submit the application form of SITEEE 2020 to participate in the counselling session. All candidates will be expected to meet the eligibility criteria of SITEEE 2020 as specified by the authorities. If the criteria are not met, the candidates will be termed ineligible for admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the institute. Before applying for SITEEE 2020, the candidate are advised to check the eligibility criteria.

General category candidates should have scored 45% aggregate marks in the 10+2 qualifying examination. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved categories (40%).

The application form of SITEEE 2020 has been released in online mode on January 22. All candidates are expected to register and submit the application form before the final date to participate in the entrance examination and admission procedure. While filling out the application form, the candidates will have to provide valid personal, academic and communication details. Candidates who will use the channel of JEE Main/MHT CET for admission will also be required to submit the application form.
Step 1 - Registration and Filling of Application Form: Firstly, the candidates are requested to read all of the instructions provided in the application form. While filling SITEEE 2020 application form, the candidates will have to submit their personal (name, date of birth, gender, etc), academic (10th and 12th standard qualifications) and communication information (email ID, mobile number, address, etc). Four preferred test cities also have to be selected and the candidates will have to upload scanned image of their photograph. The application number and password will be generated.
Step 2 - Payment of Fee: Next, the candidates will have to pay the application fee in online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (demand draft drawn in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune). A print out of the payment receipt has to be taken and the candidates will have to write the demand draft details and send it along with the demand draft to the following address:

Step 3 - Printing of Application Form - Finally, the candidates are requested to print out a copy of the submitted application form of SITEEE 2020 for future reference.
Symbiosis Institute of Technology has released the list of SITEEE 2020 exam centres which consist of the cities where the entrance examination will be conducted. While filling out the application form, the candidates will have to select their preferred cities. The detailed information about the allotted exam centre will be available in the admit card. In the previous year, SITEEE was conducted in 80 exam centres.
Candidates are advised to refer to the exam pattern of SITEEE 2020 to prepare for the upcoming examination. Using the exam pattern, the candidates can become familiar with how the entrance examination will be conducted. Information about the mode, duration, type of questions, marking scheme and more will be available through the exam pattern. Candidates will be able to boost their preparation by referring to the exam pattern.

There is no negative marking in SITEEE 2020
The syllabus of SITEEE 2020 is not officially released by the authorities. However, the topics and units from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10+2th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination. Before starting off the preparation, the candidates are advised to check SITEEE 2020 syllabus to create a strategy to have a better study session. By being familiar with the syllabus, the candidates will be able to know what is to be studied for the upcoming entrance examination.
Candidates can solve the sample papers of SITEEE 2020 to boost their preparation for the examination. By checking and solving the previous year papers, the candidates can know the type of pattern and questions involved in the entrance examination. Candidates will also be able to assess their current level of preparation through the sample papers. Management of time can also be improved by solving sample papers within the allotted time limit.
The admit card of SITEEE 2020 will be available from April 22. Registered candidates will be able to access the admit card in online mode. Details about the examination such as date, timings, venue address and more will be present in the SITEEE 2020 admit card. After printing out the admit card of SITEEE 2020, the candidates will have to paste their recent passport size photograph at the designated space. While reporting to the exam centre, the candidates will have to bring their admit card along with a valid photo ID, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the venue.
Symbiosis Institute of Technology will release the result of SITEEE 2020 on May 12. To check the results, the candidates will have to login using the required credentials. It has to be noted that the result will be declared in online mode and no other medium will be used by the authorities.

The rank list of SITEEE 2020 will be released by the authorities in online mode along with the result. Candidates who are listed out in the rank list will be called in for the counselling process as per their secured rank. The rank list will be prepared by the authorities on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the examination.
The authorities are not likely to release the official cutoff of SITEEE 2020. If released, then it will be updated here as soon as it is published. However, the authorities will take into consideration the previous year’s ranks while screening the admission for SITEEE 2020.
Candidates who are listed out in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment of SITEEE 2020. The authorities will also allow MHT CET or JEE Main qualified candidates to participate in the counselling session. Registration and selection of choices has to be done in online mode and then the candidates will have to physically report for document verification. Allotment of seats will be done as per the secured rank, preferences and availability of seats.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for both NTA UGC-NET exam conducted by NTA and SET exam conducted by different states. Any one who has completed his/her Masters with minimum of 55% for general category and 50% for SC/ST category are eligible to apply for NET/SET exam.
