SAAT Important Dates 2017 - Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University has announced SAAT 2017 important dates for candidates who wish to appear in Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT) 2017. The university conducted the entrance test from April 22 to 25, 2017 in online mode. SAAT 2017 – the national level entrance exam was held in 62 test centres across 40 cities. Application form for SAAT 2017 was available now and candidates could fill and submit the application form till April 18, 2017. Admit card or hall ticket for SAAT 2017 was available for downloading from April 20, 2017 onwards. The result of SAAT 2017 will be declared on May 6, 2017 (5 pm). Important points about SAAT and SOA University:
SOA University will offer B.Tech admissions through SAAT and JEE Main.
The university offers undergraduate engineering programmes in 9 disciplines at SOA University and its constituent institutes.
Out of the 5 campuses of SOA University, only campus 1, 2 and 4 offer admissions in B.Tech programmes.
Only campus 1 offers B.Tech admissions on the basis of SAAT and JEE Main, while campus 2 and 4 offer admissions only through SAAT.
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan is a deemed university, U/S 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 and is located in Bhubaneswar in Odisha. The university conducts this entrance exam every year and this is the 9th year that SAAT has been conducted.

No. SAAT 2023 exam is not necessary for getting admission into Siksha O Anusandhan University. If the candidate has given any other national level entrance exam instead of the SAAT exam, then those scores will be considered for the admissions.
