SAAT Exam Pattern 2017 - Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University has announced the SAAT 2017 Exam Pattern for the candidates appearing in the entrance exam. The Exam Pattern for SAAT 2017 entrance exam will provide all the details from total number of questions asked in the exam to the time given to attempt them. Following the SAAT exam pattern 2017, candidates can know more about the question paper, marking scheme, weightage given to each section, subjects covered in the exam etc. This will help candidates plan their strategy for SAAT beforehand about how to attempt the questions in the exam. SAAT 2017 exam will have three sections of equal weightage having questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The time given to attempt each section would be 1 hour, totalling the exam time to 3 hours. Salient Features of SAAT 2017 Exam Pattern
- The syllabus for SAAT Entrance Exam will broadly include all the topics covered in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from class XI and XII.
- The entrance exam would be online and will include objective type questions.
- The marks awarded for each correct answer would be 4 and for every wrong answer 1 mark would be deducted.
- For unmarked and unattempted questions, no marks would be given.
The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test, commonly known as SAAT, is conducted by the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar. The National Level exam offer admissions to 9 B.Tech disciplines at the University. The University has 5 campuses wherein only campus 1, 2 and 4 offers B.Tech admissions.
The university will offer B.Tech admission only in campus 1 on the basis of SAAT 2017 and JEE Main 2017. In campus 2 and 4, the admissions in B.Tech programmes are offered only through SAAT 2017. The Eligibility Criteria for SAAT 2017 include eligibility conditions set by SOA University for admissions to B.Tech programmes. The eligibility criteria of SAAT 2017 give details related to age, qualifying exam, marks in qualifying examination, etc. basis which the aspirants are considered eligible for appearing in SAAT 2017. The Application Form for SAAT 2017 is available online for all eligible applicants. The SAAT exam will be held from April 22 to 25, 2017. Candidates who have already applied for the exam can receive their admit cards till April 25, 2017.
