Punjab Engineering Admission 2014 Counselling - The dates for the first round Fee payment is May 15 to July 3, 2014 while for the second round is July 5 to 17, 2014. Candidates applying for the Punjab Engineering Admission 2014 Counselling may note that after counselling fee payment comes the registration of the qualified candidates, choice filling as per the course and institute preference, seat allotment and admission to the engineering courses in the state of Punjab. Candidates will have to register online after payment of the Counselling fees by cash using the E-Slip or online payment through Debit/Credit Cards. Punjab Engineering Admission 2014 Counselling comprises of the following:
Candidates must have paid the Counselling fees of Rs 2000 and filled up the Punjab Engineering Admission 2014 Application Form to activate their accounts.
After payment of the Counselling fees, they will receive a confirmation email confirming their registration, login-id and password
1. Online Registration

The following details have to be entered for registration.
JEE Main 2014 Roll no (This will be the Log in ID also)
JEE Main 2014 Rank (All India rank)
Name of Candidate (as given in JEE Main 2014 Examination)
Date of Birth (as given in JEE Main 2014 Examination),
Eligibility Quota (Punjab students will have 85% & students of other states 15%)
Note: Sikh Minority benefits will be for those students who fulfill the criteria and also appear for the Sikh Minority test conducted by the SGPC
2. Choice Filling:
(A) After successful registration and login, the homepage of candidate is opened and the following options are displayed:
Registration Details: Registration Detail is important for seat allotment and candidates should fill that very carefully.
Edit Registration: Candidates can correct any mistake in the Registration Details using this option, provided he/she has not freezed the registration form.
Available Choices: List of colleges and branches thereof will be displayed.
Fill Choices: Candidates shall fill the college or branches of choice in order of preferences. It is in their interest to fill maximum available choices of colleges and branches. They can also alter/rearrange/delete the filled choices.
Display Filled Choices: Choices entered by the candidates will be displayed on different form so that they can check the already entered information.
Print Choices: Candidates can also print the list of choices filled by them for record.
(B) Allotment of Seat: After the choice filling period is over, all filled choices of all registered candidates will be considered for allotment of seats as per merit (rank), category of the candidate and seat allotment rules approved by participating Universities.
3. Seat Allotment:
The Punjab Engineering Admission 2014 Seat Allotment will be on the basis of the merit (Rank), category of the candidate.
Note: The Seat Allotment of Punjab Engineering Admission 2014 will also be as per the guidelines of the participating Universities for the corresponding courses.
Candidates who are allotted seats will be intimated by SMS and the details will also be available on the website.
Candidates must log in to check the details of the Seat Allotment of Punjab Engineering Admission 2014
Candidates must take a printout of the allotment letter to furnish at the allotted institute.
4. Reporting to Allotted Institute:
Only Candidates who have been allotted seats have to report to the allotted institute as per the given schedule
Candidates must report along with the requisite documents specified below in original and a set of attested copies.
Important: Candidates are advised not to submit the originals during admission.
Counselling modalities will be as per the participating university guidelines.
Candidates are advised to check the respective university website for the exact counselling modalities.
5. Participation in Second Round:
Candidates falling under 85% Punjab Quota and 15% Other States Quota, irrespective of whether they have been allotted a seat or not allotted seat or could not join the allotted institution or could not participate in the earlier round, can participate in the second phase of Punjab Engineering Admission 2014 Counselling by registering them for subsequent round.

Character Certificate from the Principal of the college/school last attended
Migration Certificate for candidates of other Universities/Boards
