Post COVID-19 Impact on Offline Classes
It is no secret that COVID-19 has impacted the entire world in 2020. Every field and industry has been affected by the ongoing pandemic and the education domain is one of the many. With the institutions being closed down, the academics have opted for a new route i.e., online classes. Students are now undertaking online classes and it has now become the new norm for the past few weeks. Since the engineering entrance examination season in India is soon to arrive, coaching centres have also moved their offline classes to online mode. So what will the conclusion turn out to be after the lockdown and the pandemic is over? What will be the post COVID-19 impact on offline classes?
Ongoing Situation with COVID-19
India has been put under lockdown by the government due to COVID-19 or commonly known as Coronavirus. Since travelling or even stepping out of the house has been restricted, students have opted for online classes. Coaching institutes have been supervising the studies through online means such as Zoom, Google Hangouts and more. More importance is being given to speed up the revision process for the upcoming entrance examinations such as JEE Main, which has been postponed till further notice.
Advantages of Online Classes
Online classes are proving to be quite advantageous to many students. Since the students are being handed over the materials to study at the comfort of their home, the productivity level is most likely to rise. Studying at home also means that the students save up on the time which they used to travel to their school or coaching institutes. Students can use this time to adjust their extra studying sessions. Another advantage of online classes is that the students are given the opportunity to have flexibility in their studies. Some students are also not able to study well in pressurizing situations, so studying at home provides them with the comfortable environment in which they can progress well.
What will be the post COVID-19 impact on offline classes?
Since students are now getting adjusted to the online classes, there are many discussions regarding the advantages of it. This has taken away a bit of importance of offline classes and students seem to prefer the new method of studying. But what after the lockdown is over? It is highly possible that offline classes will still be impossible for a few more months since social distancing is important. Many experts have put out their thoughts that online classes will have to be carried out. A new term, Hybrid Coaching, has also been introduced in which the students attend online classes and also physically go to the institutes at least twice or thrice a week. This will allow the students to deal with the pros and cons of both modes of classes.
The outlook to offline classes has definitely been impacted because of COVID-19. The ongoing situation has made it clear that academics carry on without the need of physical classes. However, there are many cons to the online classes. Since the classes are being done online, there are higher chances that the teachers will not be able to give attention to each student as compared to the offline classes. Students may also be less motivated to study through online classes since there is no supervision.

I have got 28 in Mathematics, 72 in Physics, and 68 in chemistry. Is it possible for me to get admission in any engineering college if I perform well in JEE or UPSEE?
So in total you have scored 168 out of 360. This is a decent score, you are in a much better position than most students. i can assure you that you can get a decent college by this score. You should try for JAC counselling for admission in NSIT, DTU and IIIT Delhi. Also apply for other universities like Thapar, GGSIPU and CU.
For UPSEE, you need to score well enough and then you may be able to get admission in HBTI Kanpur or prominent colleges of Lucknow.
Feel Free to ask any other query. Thanks!

Dear sir/Mam I am fill form of VITEEE 2020 but due to COVID-19 it has been cancelled and admission is on basis class 12th marks and Jan JEE mains percentile, but Im not giving jan JEE mains exam and my 12th percentage will be 55%(general) can I get admission......
Hey Ayush :)
Since Viteee is cancelled due to the situation of this pandemic and is based on the numbers of board results as well as on jee mains exams.
You need to get 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent).
If you get minimum this much marks then only you are able to participate in viteee.
I feel that you should practice hard and appear in second attempt of jee mains which will be going to be held on 1-6 September 2020.
Or you can appear in improvement of board marks and then apply in next year. I feel with the hard work you will be able to get a good college.
If you wish to appear in this year only then you should also apply for other papers such as comedk, upsee, paper of Gla university etc.they contain many good colleges.
Many colleges also provides management quota such as abes, aktu etc(especially in upsee there is a liberty of 10% management quota ). you can go to this way also, these colleges does there own test and interview to get the admission for these 10% management quota seats. you can go to the website of upsee to look at the number of colleges and there management quota. wish that you will take fine and best step according to your will and ability.
I also recommend you to go to official sites of these colleges and have a look on the eligibility criteria. so as to get maximum opportunities.
These above steps should be taken after 2nd attempt of mains(in your case it is first).
You should practice hard for 2nd attempt of mains. you can go to online material providers which provides you the basic idea of the previous years mains question pattern.
I feel that 10 to 15 practice set of each subject is sufficient to anyone.
Plan strategically and work hard for your future. You are the best maker of your future.
I wish you get a very nice college in future.
Wish this answer is helpful to you.
Thanks and regards
