The OJEE Board had earlier announced a special/ 2nd OJEE 2017 test to be held on August 10. Candidates could apply online for this round on August 6 & 7, 2017. OJEE Counselling 2017
Under OJEE Counselling 2017, candidates are allotted seats to different engineering programmes to the private and government colleges in Odisha, which have almost 50,000 seats. The OJEE Counselling 2017 will be on the basis of the ranks scored by the candidates in the special OJEE 2017 exam held on August 10. Candidates who have qualified in the exam were able to download their rank cards and apply for the OJEE special counselling on August 12, 2017. Candidates had to register online, make payment of counselling fees which is non-refundable and lock their choice of the programme after registering. The seat allotment result was announced the next day and candidates had to report to the allotted college for document verification and payment of admission fees.
The first round of counselling of OJEE was on the basis of the JEE Main 2017 scores of the candidates who had applied for the same. Candidates had to register, pay the fees and lock their choices.Therafter his/her documents were verified at the nodal centre and the seat was temporarily allotted. Candidates who failed to report for document verification or opt for the withdrawal option after the first round of counselling were not considered for auto upgradation in the second round.

OJEE Seat Allotment 2017
OJEE Seat Allotment 2017 for special or 2nd OJEE was declared on August 13. Candidates had to login and download the allotment letters to report to the college for document verification and fee payment. Allotment of seats was done on the basis of the merit and the options exercised by the candidates. Candidates had to register themselves and filled the choices of courses and colleges. Earlier, two rounds of temporary allotment were held, while the final round of allotment was declared on July 23 for JEE Main 2017 applicants who had applied for OJEE. Candidates who had been allotted seats had to report at the nodal centres for document verification and payment of fees (Rs. 10,000) for General Category candidates and Rs. 5,000 for SC/ST/PC candidates. The candidates are advised not to report at the allotted institute till the final allotment is over. Those candidates whose documents are not verified or withdraw their admission will be refunded for the admission fee.
OJEE 2017 Admit Card (special round)
Candidates appearing for the OJEE 2017 special round /2nd round were able to download their admit card from August 8 to 10, 2017. They had to login and enter their application number as well as their password to be able to access their OJEE 2017 admit card and print the same to appear for the exam held on August 10, 2017. Candidates must remember to safe keep their admit card of OJEE Special round as it is required during counselling which was held on August 13, 2017 after the declaration of the seat allotment.

OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2017
OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2017 mentions the age limits allowed for candidates applying for admission to the OJEE Participating Institutes 2017, requisite educational qualifications, reservation criteria, marks which the candidates must score in their 10+2 from recognised board and such. Candidates must meet all the specified eligibility criteria specified for OJEE 2017 to be eligible for the B.Tech admissions.

Pass percentage in qualifying exam
Each applicant must have passed each individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate. SC/ST candidates must have obtained 40%

There is no upper age limit but candidates must be 17 or above to be eligible for admissions

Candidates should not be colour blind and must have vision 0f 6/12 in both eyes
Candidates aspiring to take admission in the architecture programme are required to clear the 10+2 exam of Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or any other equivalent examination. It is mandatory for them to have Mathematics as a compulsory subject and must have scored at least 50 per cent aggregate in any five subjects taken together.
OJEE Application Form 2017
OJEE 2017 Application Form for the special round was available from August 6 to 7, 2017 (by 5 pm). Candidates must enter their persoanl and academic details and upload the scanned images as per the given specifications. They have to upload their recent photograph, signature and left thumb impression. They must pay the application fee of Rs 1000 online through net banking or Debit/Credit cards. Thereafter they must download and print the confirmation page. They are also required to choose a password for future logins in addition to giving details of a valid mobile number and email ID.
The OJEE Application form for the JEE Main 2017 applicants was available in online mode till June 27, 2017. All eligible candidates had to register for OJEE first before filling their OJEE Application Form. Since the application process is now over, the candidates can check the steps given below for reference.
Step 1: Registration: In order to register for OJEE 2017, candidates are required to enter their date of birth and JEE Main 2017 roll number.
Step 2: Create Password:
Candidates must generate their own password. The specifications for the password are:
It must be between 8-13 characters long with at least one special, one upper case and one lower case character, one numeric value, e.g., [email protected]
The password will be case sensitive.
Step 3 - The candidate can log in directly with Roll Number as login ID and the generated password as Password
Step 4 - Verification of personal details: Candidates must verify the details generated on the basis of their JEE Main 2017
Step 5 - Payment of Fee: Candidates must pay Rs 450 as counselling fees online through Debit card/Credit card/Online banking
Step 6 - Choice filling and verification of documents: Candidates must fill their choices of courses and colleges to complete their OJEE Application process.

OJEE Cutoff 2017
Candidates who have applied for the B.Tech courses in Odisha can check the cutoff for the admissions to get an idea of the minimum scores considered for admissions. The minimum JEE Main 2017 score that will be used to consider the B.Tech admissions is the JEE Main 2017 cutoff.
