OJEE 2019: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) has released the result of Special OJEE 2019. Candidates can now check their result by logging in using their roll number and date of birth. Earlier, the authorities had declared the second seat allotment of OJEE 2019 (JEE Main candidates). The authorities concluded the Special OJEE exam on July 21, 2019. To participate in the web-based counselling process, candidates had to get registered, pay the counselling fee and exercise choice filling. Based on the choices filled by the candidates, a mock seat allotment round was held to give candidates an idea as to their chances of admission. The mock result could be used for editing choices before last date. There will be two OJEE 2019 seat allotment rounds - JEE Main qualified candidates who are allotted seats have to pay the admission fee and report at the assigned nodal centre for document verification. Before applying for admission, candidates need to confirm that they meet the prescribed programme-specific eligibility criteria of OJEE 2019. It is because the eligibility criteria varies depending on whether the candidate wants to pursue engineering and technology programme or architecture programme. In addition, a separate set of OJEE 2019 eligibility criteria applies for marine engineering, as has been described below.
Engineering and Technology
Qualifying Exam: The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 examination conducted by CHSE, Odisha or any other equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any one of Chemistry /Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject / Electronics / Computer science / Information Technology / Geology / Statistics.
Minimum marks in Qualifying Exam: The candidate needs to secure minimum 50% marks in the three subjects (40% in case of SC and ST candidates) and also pass each of the subjects individually.
Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have 10+2 examination conducted by CHSE, Odisha or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Minimum marks in Qualifying Exam: The candidate needs to secure minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam, and also 50% marks in the three subjects taken together.
Please note that no age limit has been set for engineering and technology and architecture programmes.
Special Requirements for Marine Engineering
Qualifying Exam: The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam with minimum 60% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together. The candidate also needs to have studied English in 10+2.
Age limit: The candidate must be not more 20 years of age on the date of commencement of the course
The application process for Special OJEE 2019 has ended. Special OJEE 2019 had to be attempted by candidates who do not have a JEE Main rank. The OJEE 2019 counselling registration cum- application form was available in online mode and had to be filled by eligible candidates. The OJEE 2019 application filling process included steps like registration, payment of registration-cum-counselling fee, and filling and locking of choices. How to fill OJEE 2019 Application Form
Registration – To register, the candidate had to enter JEE Main 2019 details, apart from current mobile number and email id. The candidate also had to choose a password for the applicant log-in account.
Payment of fee – The registration-cum-counselling fee of Rs. 450 could be paid in online mode using net banking, credit or debit cards.
Choice filling - In this step, the candidate had to enter their choices in the order of preference. It was advisable to enter as many choices as possible to maximize one’s chances of admission of getting a higher preferred seat.
Editing of filled choices based on mock result – Based on the choices entered by candidates, a mock allotment round was conducted to give candidates an idea about their chances of admission. The candidate could then, based on the mock allotment, make changes of filled choices.
Locking of choices – Candidates had to fill their entered choices before the last date, otherwise last filled choices would automatically get locked.

Special OJEE admit card 2019
Exam authorities released the admit card of special OJEE 2019. To download the Special OJEE 2019 admit card, candidates had to log-in to the admit card download portal using their application number and password. The admit card was a special document that was required to not only sit in the entrance exam but also to complete other admission formalities.
Special OJEE Result 2019
The result of special OJEE 2019 has been declared on July 25 by the authorities and can be checked in online mode by logging into one’s applicant account. The result has details related to the score obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam. Also, based on special OJEE 2019 result, merit list will be prepared for non-JEE Main candidates.
Authorities will determine branch and category-specific OJEE 2019 cutoffs for JEE Main 2019-qualified candidates based on parameters like number of applications received and seats sanctioned available for the particular course. The cutoff is usually the last rank for which admission is offered, so the candidate must try to get a rank equal to or higher than the declared cutoff to have a fair shot at admission. The cutoff for JEE Main candidates will be based on their ranks in the national-level exam. In case of candidates who have qualified Special OJEE 2019, separate branch and category-wise cutoffs will be released.
Exam authorities will conduct counselling of OJEE 2019 separately for JEE Main 2019-qualifed candidates and for candidates seeking admission based on special OJEE 2019. Please note special OJEE 2019 entrance exam was meant for candidates who haven’t qualified JEE Main exam. Counselling for JEE Main candidates is being conducted first. The allotment of seats during OJEE 2019 counselling is based on the merit rank of the candidates in JEE Main 2019 and choices filled by them. There are two provisional seat allotment rounds for JEE Main-qualified candidates. Provisionally allotted candidates are required to pay the admission fee and report at the assigned reporting centre for document verification. The final allotment will be made only post successful document verification and payment of fee.

There is 5% reservation for Green Card holders in Odisha joint entrance examination counselling so in case you do not have the Green Card you are not eligible for getting seat under the reservation for Green Card holders .you can get a seat under no reservation . Because green card is the only proof of you being a green card holder.
