NSIT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2017- Reservation

 

 

Under the eligibility criteria of NSIT M. Tech 2017, seats will be reserved for candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or the physically challenged category.

 

According to Faculty of Technology, the reservation will be provided on the criteria given below:

 

(i) There shall be no seats reserved for scheduled castes at the post graduate level if the number of seats is less than seven

(ii)  In case the number of seats is more than seven but less than 15, in that case, 15% seats will be reserved for Scheduled Caste Candidates

(iii) If no Scheduled Caste Candidate is available, then, in that case, the seat will be awarded to a candidate belonging to Scheduled Tribe, in case of availability.

(iv) If there are more than 15 seats, 15% seats will be reserved for Scheduled Castes and 7.5 % for Scheduled Tribes and it will be interchangeable

(v) Reservation of seats will be made department wise

(vi) For the physically challenged candidates, three per cent of the seats shall be reserved. 

 

NSIT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2017- Age requirement

 

 

As per the NSIT M. Tech 2017 eligibility criteria, candidates are required to be at least 21 years old before the first day of October 2017.

 

Depending on the individual merit, the Vice Chancellor has the right to relax it maximum by a year.
