NPAT UG 2018

NPAT UGNPAT UG 2018 - Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies has released NPAT 2018 application form from December 10 onwards in online mode. Aspiring candidates can fill the application form of NPAT UG 2018 till April 28, 2018. NPAT UG 2018 will be held in online mode from 10 am to 12 noon on May 12 and 13. As per the exam condcuting authority, all candidates have to report at the exam centres by 8.45 am. Candidates have the option of taking the NPAT online exam on either of the day or on both days. Candidates who wish to take the test on both days have to pay the fee for both days. NPAT UG admit card or call letter will be available online from May 7. For candidates who take the test on both the days, highest scores out of the both tests will be considered for preparation of merit list which will be released on June 1. Only those candidates who manage to qualify the examination of NPAT UG will be allotted seats into the two campuses of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies at Mumbai and Shirpur. The institute currently offers 7 B.Tech courses to the eligible candidates. The counselling of NPAT UG 2018 will be conducted in offline mode from June 13 to 20. Allotment of seats will be done based on the ranks of the candidates in the NPAT UG 2018 examination. NPAT UG Eligibility Criteria 2018


It is important for all candidates to meet the required eligibility criteria of NPAT UG 2018 to participate in the entrance examination. The following criteria has to be satisfied. Ineligible candidates will be disqualified.


Eligibility Criteria of NPAT UG 2018

  • Age: The candidates should not be more than 25 years of age.

  • Educational Qualification: Should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination from a recognized board or institute including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate or/and DP awarded are not eligible). Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with English as a compulsory subject.

  • Candidates with Diploma in Engineering with at least 50% aggregate marks are also eligible to apply.
  • Marks Required: For the Mumbai campus, the candidates should have scored atleast 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Atleast 45% aggregate marks should have been secured by the candidates for Shirpur campus in the qualifying exam.

Eligibility for candidates passing from Open or Distance learning (ODL) school

  • Candidates who have cleared the 10+2 or equivalent exam from Open or Distance learning (ODL) school which is recognized by by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).

  •  Passed 10+2 through distance learning/ open school/ correspondence or externally other than NIOS will not be eligible to take the exam.

NPAT UG Application Form 2018


The online application form of NPAT UG 2018 is available from January 10, 2018. Candidates can make corrections in the submitted application form till April 21, while the last date to fill NPAT UG 2018 application form is April 28. Aspiring candidates have to register themselves for the entrance examination. Unregistered candidates will not be allowed to participate in the entrance exam. The four steps to complete the process of NPAT UG application form 2018 are given below:

Step 1 – Registration: The candidates will first have to register themselves to fill the online application form. The given steps can be followed by the candidates for registration:

  • The candidates have to enter their name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email address and roll number of the qualifying exam.

  • After the candidates are registered, they will receive their user id and password in their registered email id.

  • Using the user id and password, the candidates will have to login to fill the application form.

After the registration, candidates will see a system generated application number and other details entered at the time of registration. Candidates must keep this NPAT UG 2018 Application Number for future use and refrence. 


Step 2 – Filling of Online Application Form with Personal Details and Uploading Candidate's Photograph: After logging in, the candidates have to fill the rest of the online NPAT UG 2018 application form. All information submitted has to be valid. Incomplete or incorrect applications will not be accepted.

Upload Candidate's Passport Size Photograph: At this same page only, candidates have to upload their passport size colour photograph as per the following specifications. 

  • The photograph should not be more than six months old.

  • The candidates should not be wearing goggles or cap.

  • The eyes/face of the candidates should be clearly visible. Eyes should be open too.

  • The photograph should be in light coloured or white background.

  • File Dimension: 200 (height) x 150 (width) pixels

  • File Size: Not more than 500 KB

  • Format: JPEG

After uploading the photograph, candidates must click on "Save and Next button"


Step 3 - Filling Academic Details


Academic Details:

  • Board Name of 10th and 12th standard

  • Year of Passing (10th and 12th standard)

  • Secured Scores in 10th and 12th standard qualifying examination

  • Name of School from where the candidate has qualified his/her 12th standard examination.

  • Select Yes/No if you have opted for Mathematics/ Statistics in class 12th 


When all is done, click on Save and Next Button


Step 4 – Institute/School/Exam date/Exam Centre Selection

  • At this stage, candidates have to select the schools/institutes (which are the constituent institutes) of the exam conducting authority. Engineering aspirants must only select the institutes where B.Tech programmes are offered. 
  • Select 5 B.Tech programmes from the drop-down list as per the order of your prefrence. 
  • Select the date of exam and 2 exam cities in order of your prefrence. 
  • Click on Payment Type and then on Save and Save & Next

Step 5 - Application Fee Payment: Finally, the candidates will have to pay the required application fee. The payment can be done through online mode i.e., debit card, credit card or internet banking.


Application Fees: Rs. 1800 (Plus 18% IGST)  


Select the Payment Gateway - HDFC Bank or BillDesk Gateway to pay the fee 


NPAT UG Exam Centres 2018


During registration, the candidates have the option of selecting two exam centre cities. NPAT UG 2018 will be held across multiple exam centres in 41 cities of India. After selection and submission, the candidates will not be allowed to change their selected cities.

NPAT UG Mock Test 2018


The mock test of NPAT UG 2018 will be made available online by the admission authorities. The candidates will be able to attempt the online NPAT UG 2018 mock test to prepare for the examination. NPAT UG mock test 2018 will be similar to the real online examination and the candidates will be able to use the mock test to know the pattern of the examination.


NPAT UG Admit Card 2018


The admission authorities will release the official admit card of NPAT UG 2018 or call letter from May 7, 2018. Only the registered candidates will be able to download their NPAT UG 2018 admit card in online mode. It is essential for all candidates to produce their NPAT UG admit card 2018 at the examination centre. Failure to bring the admit card will disqualify the candidates from attempting the examination. All candidates will also have to bring one of their photo identity proofs (List mentioned below) along with the admit card to the examination centre. The details of examination venue, timings and more will be available in NPAT UG 2018 admit card.


Steps to Download NPAT UG 2018 Admit Card

  • Candidates have to go to the admit card link (The link will be updated here later)

  • Candidates have to enter their registered user ID and password.

  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen.

  • All details have to be checked for any discrepancies.

  • The admit card has to be printed out for future use.

NPAT UG Result 2018


The result of NPAT UG 2018 will be published tentatively in the first week of June 2018. The secured scores of the candidate will be available in the announced NPAT UG 2018 result. Based on the scores of the candidates, admissions will be provided in the B.Tech courses offered by the institute. All candidate who have qualified the examination will be able to download their score card as well as the counselling letter and the medical fitness certificate.


How to Check NPAT UG 2018 Result?

  • The candidates will have to enter their NPAT UG 2018 User ID and date of birth.

  • After logging in, the candidates will be able to check their marks and the score card will be generated.

  • The score card and counselling letter has to be downloaded and printed out for future reference.

NPAT UG Merit/Rank List 2018

The merit/rank list of NPAT UG 2018 will be declared on June 1, 2018. Candidates will be called to participate in the counselling as per their ranks in the rank list. 

NPAT UG Counselling 2018


The admission authorities will conduct the counselling of NPAT UG 2018 from June 13 to 20, 2018 in offline mode. All selected candidates will have to report at the Mumbai campus for the counselling. Candidates will be called in for NPAT UG 2018 counselling and seat allotment process according to their rank in the examination. The allotment of seats will be done according the candidate’s rank, selection of course and availability of seats during counseling of NPAT UG 2018. Verification of documents will also be done. 


NPAT UG 2018 Programme Fee


After the candidates are allotted seats, they will have to pay the tuition fee. For admissions into the Mumbai campus, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 2,85,000 and for Shirpur campus they will have to pay Rs. 1,60,000. In case the candidate wants to cancel his/her admission or wishes to withdraw the fee, then he/she will have to give a written request to the Deputy Registrar (Admission) along with the original fee receipt.
