Candidates who are selected for admission to the Institute are required to pay the fee as per the fee structure of NIT Trichy. The fee structure of NIT Trichy is revised as per the notification released by the institute. Students have to pay the fees of NIT Tiruchirappalli in online mode only and any other mode of payment such as Demand Draft is not accepted by the Institute. The NIT Trichy MBA fees differ for each specialisation course. However, candidates who have taken education loans can pay the NIT Trichy fees in the form of NEFT. Moreover, the NIT Tiruchirappalli fees for reserved and economically backward candidates are waived as per the provision by the government. How to Pay NIT Trichy Fees

Students can find below the detailed step-by-step procedure to pay the fees of NIT Tiruchirappalli. Students must refer to the NIT Tiruchirappalli fee structure before making the fee payment.

Online Mode Of Payment

(Valid for both Hostellers & Day Scholars)

Payment of fees is valid only through I-Collect/SBI Collect (State Bank of India).
Candidates who are required to make payments online need to follow this link to reach the payment portal.
Select “SBI” to enter the SBI Bank Collect Portal.
Check for the terms and conditions and proceed with filling out the form as found on the next web page.
The candidate will need to do that by selecting the State as “Tamil Nadu” and the type of Institution as “Educational Institutions”.
Select the name of the Institution from the drop-down menu as “National Institute Of Technology Trichy”
Click on “Submit” to proceed.
Now, the candidate will need to carefully choose the payment type.
Candidates will now need to fill in the information in the form as required and need to click “Submit” after the form is carefully filled.
The candidate will finally need to enter the SBI Login information to make the payment.
Save the E-receipt as a PDF document and a printout for future reference.

Offline Mode of Payment

(Valid only for Hostel Fee Payment)

The candidates who have received education loans should carry a NEFT Receipt with a UTR number for the amount displayed in their personal MIS account.
The candidates who want to book a seat in Hostel will need to submit a Demand Draft in favour of “THE CHIEF WARDEN. NIT, TRICHY”.
In case the particular bank has directly transferred the amount to the Institute, the verification will be released only after the confirmation of the Accounts Department or from the office of the Chief Warden.
Candidates are not allowed to make any part payments of the payable fee to the Institute.

NIT Trichy Courses and Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech	Candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination. +JEE Main
B.Arch	Secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class along with maths as a compulsory subject from a recognised board.
M.Tech	Candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/ PwD candidates from a recognised university/institute. + Secured a valid GATE score.
M.S	Candidates shall be required to have 60% of marks or 6.5 CGPA (for OC/OBC) in the B.E./B.Tech degree and a valid GATE score in the appropriate subject. In the case of SC/ST candidates, the eligibility requirement is 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0.
M.Sc	Candidates shall be required to have 60% of marks or 6.5 CGPA (for OC/OBC) in the B.E./B.Tech degree and a valid GATE score in the appropriate subject.
M.Arch	Passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in the case of SC/ST/ PwD candidates. + Candidates must have a valid GATE score.
M.A	Candidates should have first class (60% or above of aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA) and SC/ST/PwD candidates shall have 55% or above (6.0 CGPA) in B.A. in English Literature/ELT/linguistics from any recognised university/college. +CUET-PG
M.C.A	Candidates should have 60% marks (6.5/10 CGPA) in bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with Mathematics/Statistics/Business Maths as one of the subjects in any one semester/year, both in graduation and at 10+2 level are eligible. For SC/ST candidates the percentage of marks required is 55% (6.0/10 CGPA).
MBA	Candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks. +CAT
Ph.D	Passed bachelor’s and master’s degree/M.S. (by Research) in Engineering/Technology in the appropriate branch with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in UG or PG for admission under OC/OBC category and 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for SC/ST/PH candidates.

College Infrastructure

campus is very beautiful and it is spread around 800 acres. nature round university is pleasant. many courses offered by university and many blocks . hostel rooms are neat and clean. classrooms are spacious and excellent laboratories.

College Infrastructure

NIT Trichy's infrastructure is very good. The college has the latest equipment in the laboratories for the use of students. The college has a very big library, smartboards in classrooms. Hostels are very good and mess food is great.

It's an average college which is so over-rated.

College Infrastructure

For a college with NIRF 8 in All India Level, the infrastructure is not great. It's okay. Hostels are very poor. Library is really good. Classrooms are average, No wifi in classrooms and the wifi in hostels often have some issue

Hope.you are doing well ! Yes you may have the very high chances to get not Trichy but you may get lower branch there . See the cutoff of previous year.

The average package for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) batch at NIT Trichy in 2023 was INR 27.27 LPA. The highest package is INR 52.89 LPA.
