NIFTEM-T Admission Process

NIFTEM has commenced the B.Tech registration online. The authority updated the link for the registration of NIFTEM 2024 is available on the website, admission.niftem.ac.in. Moreover, a direct link is provided on this page for the NIFTEM application form 2024. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of NIFTEM admission 2024 before filling out the application. No application will be accepted after the last date for the NIFTEM application form 2024. The last date to submit the NIFTEM application form is July 2024.

The authority will not conduct entrance examination for NIFTEM 2024 admission and final selection will be based on JEE Main scores. Candidates will be offered admission through the JoSAA 2024 / CSAB 2024. Through NIFTEM admission 2024, candidates will be offered admission to the B.Tech course of Food Technology and Management (FTM). NIFTEM Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of NIFTEM admission 2024 before filling out the application form. Details regarding the conditions and requirements that have to be met by the candidates are listed out in the NIFTEM 2024 eligibility criteria. The inability to fulfill the listed NIFTEM eligibility criteria 2024 will lead to the disqualification of the candidates from the allotment process.

Candidates willing to get admission in B.Tech courses through NIFTEM admission 2024 must fulfill the eligibility criteria-

Candidates should have secured a qualifying score in JEE Main.
Candidates should have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. Those who are appearing for the examination in 2024 will also be eligible.
Candidates should have a minimum 50% marks should have been secured in all of the subjects.
Candidates who get a compartment in the 10+2 examination will not be eligible for admission even if they clear the same (by appearing in the supplementary examination) before the reporting/counselling dates.

NIFTEM Admission 2024

The National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Management, Thanjavur offers one undergraduate course, three postgraduate courses, and two doctoral programmes to the students. Admission to undergraduate course such as B.Tech is based on JEE Main exam.

NIFTEM Courses, Seat Intake, and Eligibility Criteria

NIFTEM B.Tech Admission Procedure 2024

Since no entrance examination will be conducted, NIFTEM admission 2024 will be done on the basis of JEE Main 2024 scores. Candidates will have to participate in the counselling of JoSAA 2024. Selection will be done as per the ranks secured by the candidates in JEE Main 2024.

All of the candidates will have to register for JoSAA 2024.
After allotment through JoSAA 2024, candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee.
The remaining fee has to be paid through SBI collect portal of NIFTEM admission 2024.
If candidates fail to pay the required fee before the final date then they will be disqualified and their seat will be forfeited.
Selected candidates will have to report to the institute for document verification and confirmation of admission.

NIFTEM M.Tech/Ph.D Admission Procedure 2024

Candidates applying to the courses must meet the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur M.Tech and Ph.D course eligibility criteria of the course.
Admission to the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur M.Tech and Ph.D courses is based on merit basis.
Candidates applying for M.Tech and Ph.D courses must have completed graduation and post graduation respectively.
The students also need to submit their verified documents and fees to complete the admission procedure.

We can not distinguish between two colleges as it will involve several factors.

I will try to compare the above two colleges based on factors like NAAC grade, faculty, infrastructure, placements.

Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering is a private college founded in 1997 located in Mysore. It is NAAC A recognized.

Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology is a private institution as well established in 1986 and has NAAC B++ accreditation. It is located in Bangalore.

Vidyavardhaka has better faculty and infrastructure and can promise you a good campus life.

M.Visvesvaraya has maintained a record of decent placements over the years and has fewer fees.
