MT CET 2013 Result:

  • MT CET 2013 Result has been announced on June 5, 2013

  • Students can check for the scores they have obtained in the entrance exam through the MT CET 2013 Result.

  • Students will have to collect their MT CET 2013 Result (score cards)  from their schools/ Junior colleges.

  • Candidates who had submitted their applications through the Notified colleges will have to collect their MT CET 2013 Results (score card) from the same centre.

  • Students who have scored a non zero as per the MT CET 2013 Result will be allotted a provisional Merit number. They will be required to apply for admissions through the CAP

  • In case of a tie: The student with the higher marks will be awarded the higher rank in the order mentioned - Maths, Physics, Maths at HSC, aggregate percentage in HSC , Date of Birth (the older candidate will be given preference)

  • Students who have misplaced their MT CET score card can obtain it by applying to the Specified Authority along with a DD/ Pay Order for Rs 100 on any bank in favour of “Director, Technical Education,Mumbai” payable at Mumbai.

My birth place is Maharashtra. Appearing for 12th CBSE from Maharashtra. 10th cbse passed from Gujarat. filling MHTCET Form. Am I eligible for Maharashtra quota or in all India quota?

Hello Aspirant,

In order to get reservation of Maharashtra state quota, You should be fall in any of the point with the given below eligibility.

A. Candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra. Such candidates must have passed SSC or Diploma in Engineering or HSC or Bachelor of Science Exam from a recognized institution in Maharashtra.

B. Candidate not falling in Type A but his/her mother or father are domiciles of Maharashtra. (They must possess domicile certificate & it should be within the jurisdiction of the respective University area.).

C. Candidates who do not fall in Type A or Type B but their mother or father is a Government of India or Government of India Undertaking employee. Either of the parents should be posted and reported to the duty in Maharashtra before the deadline of MHT CET CAP application submission (which means the counselling application form).

D. Candidates who do not fall in (Type A, B and C category), but either of their parents are employees of or are retires as Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.

Dear Aspirant,

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra. It is a state level exam and for applicable for undergraduate students. The programmes offered are 3- year LLB course and 5-year integrated law course. It is an online objective type paper.

For preparation of the exam, you need to know the schedule of the applications to understand your planning and how to schedule your time-table.

For 5 year LLB:-

The application starts 20, Jan 2020

The application ends 2nd March, 2020

The exam will be on April 12, 2020

The results will be declared on 28th April, 2020

For 3 year LLB:-

The application starts 19th March, 2020

The application ends 6th May, 2020

The exam will be on 28th June, 2020

The results will be declared on 14th July, 2020

So, this means that if you are applying for 3 year LLB, you have more time to prepare and so you must schedule your studies within that time limit and vice versa.

The next step towards preparation is knowing the exam paper pattern and syllabus.

There will be 150 questions in the exam which will be objective-type. There will be no negative marking and each correct answer will be give 1 mark. The duration of the paper will be 120 minutes/ 2 hours.

The syllabus is as follows:

1. Legal aptitude and legal reasoning (30 marks) :

  • Indian polity including Executive, Judiciary and Legislature, etc.
  • Law prepositions with facts
  • Constitution

2. General Knowledge and Current affairs (40 marks) :

  • History
  • Geography
  • Latest rules and amendments
  • Current affairs (news, events, awards, etc.)

3. Logical and analytical reasoning (30 marks):

  • Completing arguments, drawing well-supported conclusions
  • Reasoning by analogy
  • Applying principles or rules
  • Sets and statements
  • Puzzle
  • Blood relation
  • Series and related concepts

4. English (30 marks) :

  • Vocabulary
  • Synonyms and Antonyms
  • Analogies
  • Idioms and Phrases
  • One-word Substitution
  • Sentence Improvement and rearrangement
  • Fill in the blanks
  • Errors - Common errors, Spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes etc, English Comprehension etc.

5. Maths (50 marks) :

  • Profit and Loss
  • Speed and Distance
  • Time and Work
  • Algebra
  • Average
  • Venn diagram and more...

For get a hang of both of these things, solve previous years question papers and mock tests given online.

Some more things to remember:

  • Planning the schedule will always help you. Start as early as you can for the exam to ace it.
  • Stick to that schedule and respect your time and manage it well.
  • Read newspaper daily.
  • Improve vocabulary in English by taking in information in English through newspaper, magazines or books.
  • Review your mock tests results.
  • Revise as much as you can! Make notes and follow them.

Is there general ews category option in mhtcet 2020

Hello Harshita,

There is no information regarding general EWS category option in MHTCET 2020. The start date of online registration starts from Jan 7th till 29th Feb.

Date of examination will be on 13th April( Group wise shifts will be announced later)

If anything regarding general Ews category you can find it on notification board on the official website

is there any reservations for army students in MHT CET for government colleges in Maharashtra. What was last years cutoffs.

Yes, there us reservation in MHT CET for Wards of Defence Personnel.Candautes from that category can enjoy as 5% reservation but for that you must have documents for proof and you should have qualified the HSC examination from a school or college in Maharashtra state.
