Excerpts from the exclusive interview:
Q: What is the overall analysis of the MT CET 2013 exam?
A: The overall MT CET 2013 exam can be rated as an easy to moderate paper. The questions were on the expected lines and there were no surprises thrown in terms of the difficulty level or the topics of the questions.
Q: Can you give a brief synopsis on the three sections of the MT CET 2013 paper?
A: The MT CET 2013 exam has three sections, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Physics and Chemistry was held together and Mathematics is a separate paper. Physics section was quite lengthy and time consuming. Chemistry questions were conceptual in nature. A candidate well versed in Chemistry would be able to score high in this section. Mathematics was quite easy compared to Physics and Chemistry.
Q: What is the expected cut off of MT CET 2013?
A: A score of more than 180 out of 300 would be good enough to get a call for the next rounds.
Q: What is the reaction of your students on MT CET 2013?
A: The students found the paper to be good. The first section was tough to handle in terms of time. Owing to the lengthy questions in the Physics area, there was time constraint on the first section. The Chemistry questions being conceptual were taxing for their memory. Compared to that, Mathematics was like a breeze to them.
Q: What is your advice for the students who have taken the MT CET 2013 exam?
A: I would advise the students to get ready for the next round of the admission process. If you work hard and sincerely, you can get through your dream college. All the best!
