Maharashtra B.Tech 2015 Counselling- Counselling for B.Tech 2015 admissions in Maharashtra will be held from June 5 to July 21 through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates, who meet the stipulated Maharashtra B.Tech 2015 Eligibility Criteria, can apply online after they pay the fees and get their documents verified at the ARCs.

Maharashtra B.Tech 2015 Counselling will be held as follows:
The Maharashtra B.Tech 2015 Counselling Procedure will have three rounds of CAP.
Only candidates, who have confirmed their Online Applications at the ARCs, can apply for the CAP rounds.
The first two Maharashtra B.Tech 2015 CAP rounds will be for all eligible candidates who have filled separate/fresh online option form for the respective rounds.
The third Maharashtra B.Tech 2015 CAP round will be for eligible Maharashtra State candidates only.
The CAP process involves Filling and Confirmation of Option form, Display of Allotment details , Reporting to respective Institutes for each round respectively.
Important: Other Than Maharashtra Candidates cannot participate in the CAP rounds on the basis of their JEE Main 2015 scores only.

Some guidelines to be kept in mind while filling the choice options:
Every course will have a 9âdigit choice code.
The serial number of block in the option form indicates preference of choice.
Therefore the choice code of the institute filled by the candidates in block number 1 will be their first preference.
Candidate are advised to take the printout of the confirmed Option form for future reference
J & K Migrants need not fill options online as their admissions will be done by counseling

Steps after Allotment
CAP Round 1
Candidates can fill 100 options with a minimum of 1 option and a maximum of 100 options.
Candidates will be allotted only one choice
Candidates who will be allotted their first choice will have to confirm the admission.
Such candidates cannot participate in the further rounds irrespective of whether they confirm the admissions of not.
In case candidates get the allotment for their 2nd to 100th choice of option, they can participate in the further rounds only if they do not confirm the admission.
CAP Round 2
Candidates can fill 100 fresh options with a minimum of 1 option and a maximum of 100 options
Candidates will be allotted seven choices
Candidates will have to confirm the admission for any one of the allotted seven choices.
Such candidates cannot participate in the further rounds irrespective of whether they confirm the admissions or not.
In case candidates get the allotment for their 8th to 100th choice of option, they can participate in the further rounds only if they do not confirm the admission
CAP Round 3
Available seats will be offered to candidates eligible to participate in Round 4 as per inter se merit
All seats will be General Seats. No seat tag of reservation, All India etc. will be maintained in this round. All available seats will be offered only to Maharashtra State candidates, who are eligible to participate in CAP Round 3.
Seat Allotment for CAP Round 1 and 2:
Candidates must log in and check their Seat Allotment.
The candidate should to take a printout of the displayed allotment
They must report to the institutes on the specified dates.
They must pay the specified fees and furnish the original certificates needed for admission
Admission will be confirmed after the institute verifies the documents and accepts the fees.
Round 3 by Centralized Counseling for Maharashtra State candidates (Type A,B,C,D,E):
Counselling will be for the vacant seats after CAP Round 2.
All seats will be converted to general category
Counselling will be only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates with a valid Merit No.
Counselling will be held simultaneously in six cities viz. Amravati, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik & Pune.
Candidates need to pay the processing fees of Rs.100 in cash at the nearest Center of Admission and obtain a receipt for the same.
Candidates will have to report at the Center of Counseling Round along with the necessary original documents as per the specified schedule.
Seat Allotment will be on the basis of per the inter se merit of candidates.
Candidates who are allotted seats in this round must confirm the admission on the spot by paying nonârefundable fees.
The confirmation of the candidate’s admission on DTE website will be done.
Candidates must report at a later date to the allotted institute and pay the balance of the due fees.
Important: If any vacancies remain after the end of CAP Round-III, Competent Authority shall conduct additional round(s) of admission. This (These) Round will be conducted concurrently in all the six regions of Technical Education Maharashtra State i.e. Amravati, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik and Pune.

As for the previous years, the cutoff marks in MHT CET for getting a seat in Computer Science Engineering, in Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering was 85 marks. The cutoffs change every year, and is more likely to change according to the availability of seats and many other factors.

Yes,you can give JEE,NEET and MHT CET exams together in same year.But you must have domicile certificate of Maharashtra then it is recommended for MHT CET otherwise you can also apply for private colleges of Maharashtra through JEE mains and JEE main students are preferred over MHT CET.
