KEAM 2020 - CEE, Kerala has re-opened the profile verification and rectification of defects process in KEAM 2020 application form. Registered candidates can now verify their profile and rectify defects, if any, till August 7 (4 PM). The authorities have also released the official KEAM answer key 2020 for both Paper 1 and 2. Various coaching institutes have also released the answer key for the exam. KEAM 2020 was conducted on July 16. KEAM 2020 admit card was released on July 7. KEAM 2020 was conducted in two sessions (morning and afternoon). Around 1.10 lakh candidates have registered for KEAM 2020. Candidates were able to change their KEAM exam centres through CEE Kerala candidate portal using their application number and password for a certain period. The first chance for KEAM 2020 exam centre change facility was available from April 16 to 21. CEE Kerala had closed the application correction facility of KEAM 2020 on June 22. KEAM 2020 result will be declared tentatively in the last week of August in online mode. For admission in B.Tech courses offered by 177 engineering institutes of the state including 133 private colleges, 25 self financing colleges, 9 Govt colleges, 3 aided colleges and 7 departmental colleges under the various State Universities.
The authorities released KEAM 2020 admit card in online mode on July 7. Registered candidates could download KEAM admit card through CEE Kerala candidate portal. Candidates who did not pay the application fee or have defects in uploaded image or signature had to do it before July 9, 2 PM in order to download the KEAM 2020 admit card. Details regarding the examination centre address, timings and more were available in the admit card. Since it is an important document to be carried to the KEAM 2020 exam centre, the admit card has to be printed out and kept safely for future use.

The authorities have released the provisional answer key of KEAM 2020 on July 18. Coaching institutes like Brilliant Pala have also released all sets of KEAM 2020 answer key for both Paper 1 and paper 2 in pdf formats. KEAM 2020 answer key contain the correct answers to all of the questions of the examination. Candidates will also be able to challenge the provisional answer key by paying Rs 100 per question till July 25. The payment has to be done through DD in favour of CEE, payable at Thiruvananthapuram, within 5 days from the date of publication of the answer keys on the website of the CEE. Candidates will also be required to submit relevant documents to support their challenges. The authorities will then release the final answer key after considering the objections, if any. Also, the authorities will refund the fee charged for challenge if it is accepted.
Candidates will be able to check KEAM 2020 result will be released tentatively in the last week of August. The authorities will release the result online and no other mode will be used to alert the candidates about their scores. To check the result, the candidates will have to login to candidate portal. It must be noted that KEAM result will not be declared for those candidates who score less than 10 marks in each paper.

Candidates will be able to check the KEAM 2020 rank list in online mode. The authorities will prepare KEAM rank list 2020 on the basis of 12th standard marks for Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics put together and KEAM scores. Equal weightage (50:50) will be given to both scores of the candidates while preparing the rank list. Therefore, all candidates will have to submit their 12th standard mark sheet before the final date allotted by the authorities. The shortlisted candidates will be able to participate in KEAM 2020 counselling and seat allotment procedure.
Candidates were advised to check the KEAM 2020 eligibility criteria before filing the application form. The authorities have already released KEAM eligibility criteria 2020. Candidates must have passed higher secondary examination of Kerala or equivalent from a recognized board to be eligible for KEAM 2020. KEAM 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to be 17 years old as on December 31, 2020. There is no upper age limit.
Candidates should have Indian nationality. However, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will also be considered eligible for KEAM 2020.
In KEAM, the candidates will be categorized as Keralite, Non-Keralite I (NK I) an Non-Keralite II (NK II). Certain documents have to be submitted to prove domicile.
Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination of Kerala or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
Candidates should have aggregate marks of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects and Chemistry is optional subject.
Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech courses were able to access the KEAM 2020 application form through the official website from February 1 to 29. Candidates also had to upload all the relevant documents and scanned images before the last date. Candidates were required to keep all the required documents ready before filling the application form like scanned images of photograph, signature and pdf file of birth certificate and other relevant documents. How to Fill KEAM 2020 Application Form?
Step 1 – KEAM Registration: In the first step, the candidates had to register by entering basic details like name, date of birth, mobile number, email along with creating a password. KEAM 2020 application number was generated on successful registration.
Step 2 – Filling Up the Application Form: After registration, candidates were required to enter all of the required personal, academic and communication details. Since no modifications were accepted after final submission, the candidates were advised to check the details once before submitting it.
Step 3 – Payment of Fee: Next, the candidates had to pay the application fee through online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card) or e-challan.
Step 4 – Uploading of Scanned Images: In this step, candidates had to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature along with the PDF file of relevant documents as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

Step 5 – Print Confirmation Page: Finally, Candidates had to take a print of the confirmation page for future reference.
While filling out the application form, the candidates were also required to select their choice of KEAM 2020 exam centres. The exam was conducted at 18 exam centres. Knowledge of syllabus of any entrance exam is the first step towards preparation. Thus, candidates must check the KEAM 2020 syllabus beforehand. CEE Kerala had released the official syllabus of KEAM 2020. Candidates can now check the syllabus through the official website. The syllabus consist of units and chapters from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The authorities have released KEAM 2020 exam pattern along with the prospectus. Candidates should note that the authorities does not release any official KEAM 2020 sample papers. However if released, it will be updated here in this article. KEAM sample papers will consist of the questions based on the actual pattern of the entrance examination. Using the sample papers, candidates will be able to practice for KEAM 2020 and know the status of their preparation. Practicing more and more KEAM sample papers will also help the candidates to know about their stronger and weaker areas.
The minimum required ranks to have higher chances of admissions into the participating institutes will form KEAM 2020 cutoff. Candidates will be able to check the opening and closing ranks through the KEAM cutoff. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of rank list will be able to participate in KEAM 2020 counselling. The authorities will commence the counselling process after declaration of result. All of the qualified candidates will firstly have to register for KEAM counselling in order to participate in the process. After which candidates will be required fill their preferred choices of colleges and courses in online mode.
Once the choice filling is completed, the authorities will conduct the KEAM 2020 seat allotment through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). The authorities will conduct three rounds of allotment along with a trial and mop up round.
- It should be noted that the authorities will first conduct a trial seat allotment round.
- After this trial seat allotment, actual rounds of allotment will be conducted. Candidates will be allowed to make changes in their filled choices for final seat allotment.
- The authorities will release the KEAM seat allotment result in online mode and the selected candidates will have to download their allotment memo.
- The seats will be allotted on the basis of secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.
- Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to pay the required fee in online mode or at the nearest head post office.
- Candidates will also have to report to the allotted institutes for the verification of documents and payment of tuition fees.
The KEAM prospectus released by CEE, Kerala mentions the list of 177 colleges that will be participating in the common allotment process of the state after the results are announced. The list of KEAM 2020 participating institutes have 9 government colleges, 3 aided, 7 under respective state universities, 25 self financing and 133 private colleges.

To get in to the BSC Forestry you must have to apply KEAM examination . As the eligibility of the examination is the students must have passed 12th and have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination .
The students sekking admission to the Kerala BSc (Hons) Forestry course in college of Forestry , Vellanikkara ,KAU must apply separately for the KEAM as well as NEET Exams . Apart from which the applicants must have given above minimum eligibility for the admission .

For KEAM score out of 360,Paper 1 and 2 of KEAM is of 480 marks each which makes the KEAM exam out of 960 marks. It is than normalised of 300 marks. The board marks are considered out of 300 and added to the KEAM results. The total marks ie, out of 600 is considered to make the final merit list(rank list).
Institute will prepare the rank list by calculating the average marks secured in KEAM entrance test and class 12 in the ratio of 50:50, which means equal weightage will be given to both the score. Also, you have to make sure that you have submitted your 12 marks beofre the due date ends.
