KEAM 2019 - Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will conduct KEAM 2019, the entrance exam of Kerala for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by the participating institutes. Candidates will have to fill the application form of KEAM 2019 which will be available in the first week of February tentatively. However, it is advised that candidates must check the complete eligibility criteria of KEAM before applying. The admit card of KEAM will be released for the successfully registered candidates in the second week of April tentatively. KEAM will be conducted in two papers in offline mode in the fourth week of April tentatively. Candidates appearing must check the syllabus and exam pattern of KEAM 2019. The result of the entrance exam will be released in the fourth week of May. For qualified candidates, rank list will be made and counselling will be conducted. KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates applying for KEAM 2019 must check the eligibility criteria of the exam. KEAM 2019 eligibility criteria are the parameters prescribed by the authorities to be fulfilled by candidates. If candidates do not fufil KEAM eligibility criteria 2019 and apply for the exam, there are chances that their application will be rejected. The eligibility criteria of KEAM 2019 includes nativity, academic eligibility and age etc.

Nationality: Only Indian citizens will be eligible to apply for the exam. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will also be considered eligible.

Domicile:Candidates will be categorised as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II). In order to prove that candidate is an Indian citizen of Kerala origin, he or she has to submit certain documents.

Age: Candidates must be 17 years old by December 31, 2019. However, there is no upper age limit for KEAM 2019.

Academic Qualification: Candidates must have completed their Higher Secondary Examination of Kerala or equivalent exam from a recognized board.

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have secured 50% marks in Mathematics separately and an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together.

 

KEAM Application Form 2019

The application form of KEAM 2019 will be released in online mode in the first week of February tentatively. Candidates will be required to fill all the details required in KEAM 2019 application form and submit it on or before the last date which will be in the fourth week of February.

 

Steps to fill KEAM 2019 application form

Step 1- Registration: Candidates need to register first, after which an application number will be generated. Candidates will have to set a password for it.

Step 2 – Upload Images: Candidates will have to upload their recent passport size photograph, signature and left thumb impression as per the specifications prescribed.

Step 3 – Filling up the Form: In this step, candidates will have to fill the details required in the application form and check it carefully before 'Final Submission'. No modifications will be made in the details filled by candidates in this step after clicking on final submission.

Step 4 – Application Fee Payment: Candidates will have to pay the application fees required through Online Payment or e-chalan as per their convenience.

Step 5 – Print Application: Candidates will be required to take a print out of the online submitted application.

Step 6 – Send Printout: Candidates will have to send a printout of the online submitted application form along with supporting documents to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Candidates will have to affix a photograph of 3.5 x 4.5 cm size same as the photograph uploaded on the online application duly attested by the Head of the Institution in which they have studied last or by a Gazetted Officer. The printout of the application and supporting documents/ certificates are to be send to the following address:

  • Print out of the filled application form of KEAM 2019 (The first page should be attested by a Government Gazetted Officer/ Head of Institution)

  • Proof of Date of Birth

  • Original Nativity Certificate

KEAM Exam Centres 2019

The exam centres of KEAM 2019 will be the venues prescribed by CEE where the exam will be held. Candidates will have to reach at their allotted KEAM 2019 exam centre on the exam day. While filling the application form, candidates will have to select their preferred exam centre of KEAM 2019 from the provided list.

KEAM Admit Card 2019

Candidates who will be registered successfully will be able to download the admit card of KEAM 2019. CEE will release KEAM 2019 admit card in the second week of April tentatively. All information regarding exam date, time, centre name and address will be mentioned on admit card. Candidates who will not carry KEAM admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed inside the exam hall.

 

Steps to Download KEAM 2019 Admit Card

  • Log in using KEAM application number and password.

  • Click on Submit button

  • Checked the details mentioned and download it.

  • Take two print outs of the downloaded admit card.

How to prepare for KEAM 2019

Candidates appearing in KEAM must know how to prepare for it.

For that, candidates must know the syllabus and exam pattern of KEAM. Candidates must also practice the sample papers of the exam.

 

KEAM Syllabus 2019

The syllabus of KEAM 2019 will be released by CEE along with the information brochure. The questions in the exam will be from KEAM 2019 syllabus, therefore, candidates must refer to it carefully.

KEAM Sample Papers 2019

The sample papers of KEAM 2019 will not be officially released by CEE.

KEAM sample papers 2019 are the model papers or previous years question papers which candidates should practice to be able to appear in the exam more confidently and aware.

 

KEAM Answer Key 2019

The authorities will release the official answer key of KEAM 2019 in the fourth week of April. Using KEAM 2019 answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their scores in the exam. KEAM answer key 2019 will be open for challenge. Candidates will have to send their objections or doubts within 5 days of its release.

 

KEAM Result 2019

The result of KEAM 2019 will be announced in the fourth week of May in online mode. Candidates will be able to check their KEAM 2019 result by logging in using their application number and password. For candidates who will have scores less than 10 in each paper, their result will not be  declared. Candidates must download their result and keep it safe for future use.

 

KEAM Rank List 2019

CEE will release the rank list of KEAM 2019 in the third week of June tentatively. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam will have to  submit their 10+2 qualifying examination marks which will be used to prepare the KEAM 2019 rank list. The marks can be submitted after logging in through the candidate portal. Those candidates who be  listed in KEAM 2019 rank list will be called for counselling and seat allotment procedure as per their merit rank. While preparing KEAM rank list 2019, equal weightage will be given to marks obtained by  candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 and marks obtained in KEAM 2019.

 

KEAM Cutoff 2019

The minimum rank required to get admission is the cutoff of KEAM 2019. Candidates having ranks less than KEAM 2019 cutoff will have less chances of admission. The authorities will prepare KEAM cutoff 2019 following certain parameters like number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam etc. The cutoff will be released with opening and closing ranks and will vary for all participating institutes and courses offered by them.

 

KEAM Counselling 2019

The counselling of KEAM 2019 will be conducted for the qualified candidates of the entrance exam. Candidates will have to register online or they can visit the nearest Facilitation Centres (FC) to participate in counselling during fourth week of June. A trial allotment will be held first. June 27. During counselling, candidates will have to fill their choice of colleges and courses.

 

KEAM Seat Allotment 2019

The seat allotment of KEAM 2019 will be through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to download their allotment memo after logging in and pay the fees at the nearest head post office or online. Allotment of seats will be done based on the ranks of the candidates and their preference of college and course. All of the selected candidates will have to report at their allotted institutes within the specified time. Document verification and payment of tuition fees will have to be done to confirm the admission.
