KEAM 2017 - The third round of seat allotment for KEAM 2017 has been announced. Candidates can check their name, allotted seat, allotted institute, etc from Candidate Login home page. The allotted candidates will have to pay the required fees till July 25, 2017. The second round of seat allotment result was announced by CEE Kerala on July 10. Candidates can check the seat allotment result from the link below. KEAM seat allotment 2017 for round 2 began in online mode from July 6, 2017 onwards for online option confirmation and rearrangement of higher options, deletion of unwanted options and registration of fresh options to the newly added courses or colleges. The last date to register for second round of seat allotment was July 9, 2017. The result for first round of seat allotment has already been announced. Candidates were able to submit online options for KEAM 2017 till 3 pm on June 29 (extended from earlier June 28). The online option registration facility for KEAM 2017 counselling commenced from June 23, 2017. Meanwhile, mock allotment of seat was announced on June 28. Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala had conducted KEAM 2017 on April 24 and April 25, 2017 in the offline mode. The rank list has been announced. The KEAM result 2017 was published on May 18 and the secured scores of the candidates were announced. The answer key of KEAM was made available by CEE on April 25 after the exam concluded. KEAM 2017 application form was available from February 1 to April 5, 2017. Candidates who qualify in KEAM 2017 can apply for admissions to over 59,000 seats offered by the 365 participating institutes of KEAM 2017 including Government colleges, Government sponsored self-financing colleges and private self-financing colleges of the state of Kerala. Admissions are on the basis of the rank list prepared using the applicant’s scores in KEAM 2017 and 12th standard qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50. The admission committee is following a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) for counselling and allotment of seats. The examination of KEAM 2017 was divided into two sections – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I consists of Physics and Chemistry and was held on April 24, 2017 from 10 am to 12:30 pm. The Paper II of KEAM 2017 consisted of Mathematics and was conducted on April 25, 2017 from 10 am to 12:30 pm.

KEAM Counselling and Seat Allotment 2017
The counselling and seat allotment of KEAM 2017 is done through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) and commenced from June 23, 2017. The choice filling for the third round of KEAM 2017 had commenced on July 16, 2017 and it concluded on July 19, 2017. The final result of seat allotment of KEAM 2017 for third round has been announced on July 21, 2017. KEAM 2017 seat allotment result for round II was announced on July 10, 2017, while the result for seat allotment round I was declared on June 30. All the candidates are allotted seats based on their ranking in the merit list. The candidates had to register themselves first for the allotment process and select their college and course. The allotment is done in online mode and the list of allotted applicants has been released online for round I. The procedure for the second round of seat allotment commenced from July 6, 2017 and continued till July 9, 2017. The successful candidates have to report at their allotted institute for verification of documents and payment of fees to confirm their admission. Trial allotment was held on June 28. KEAM Result 2017
The result of KEAM 2017 was released in online mode on May 18, 2017. The scores of the applicants obtained in the entrance examination were reflected in the result. Candidates may note that there was a change in the calculation of the score as some questions were found to be erroneous and were deleted. No candidate was awarded any marks for these deleted questions. Instead, the score calculation had been modified to reflect this change The applicants were able to download the result by accessing it through the given link. The candidates had to log in to be able to check their KEAM result 2017. No individual notification regarding the KEAM Result 2017 is sent to the applicants. To access the result, the candidates had to login using their application number and password.
A total of 90806 students appeared for the exam out of which 72440 students qualified for the Engineering Entrance Examination. Scores had been prepared on the basis of marks scored in Paper 1 & 2. Candidates who appeared for one of the papers or none have been disqualified. In addition, candidates who scored less than 10 except SC/ST candidates have been disqualified too. Submission of Class XII Marks
All candidates who have qualified had to submit their marks starting May 27 to June 8.
Candidates had to log in and enter their Application Number as well as Password to get to the "Marks Submission" section and enter their marks. the marks were evaluated as per the normalization procedure and the rank list prepared.
Candidates belonging to CBSE and CISCE could enter their marks from June 2 to 8, 2017. Candidates had to enter marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the Class XII or equivalent Qualifying Examination. Candidates who had not studied Chemistry should have entered marks for Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology as per the subjects they had studied in their second year of 10+2.
The second year marks if available with the KEAM board were displayed while submitting the Board of Examination, Year of Passing and Register Number of the candidate. In such a case, candidates need not enter the marks.
However, candidates had to check their marks displayed and edit in case of any discrepancies. Such candidates had to take a print out of their Marks Data Sheet and forward the same after signing it along with self attested copies of the Class XII marks sheet by Speed Post/Registered Post/Hand Delivery to The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Fifth Floor, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-69500. The last date for receipt of this was June 9, 2017 by 5 pm.
Candidates whose marks shown in the KEAM portal did not differ from the actual marks given in the mark list were not required to send the printout of mark data sheet and copy of mark list to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Preparation of KEAM 2017 Rank list
Ranks were awarded on the basis of the KEAM 2017 scores and class XII marks in the ratio of 50:50. Candidates who did not submit their class XII marks were not considered for the rank list of KEAM 2017.
KEAM Cutoff 2017
The admission committee has announced the cutoff of KEAM 2017 for the three rounds of counselling. The KEAM cutoff 2017 is the minimum marks that an applicant will need to obtain in order to be eligible for admissions into the participating engineering institutes of Kerala. The KEAM 2017 cutoff comprises of the closing ranks of different institutes, categories and branches in which students are aspiring to seek admission. The separate course wise and institute wise cutoff is announced by CEE. Those applicants who meet the cutoff are being called in for counselling and seat allotment process.
KEAM Answer Key 2017
The official Answer key of KEAM was available from April 25 after the CEE, Kerala announced the same. There have been some questions that have been found to be erroneous and therefore have been deleted as per the notification released by CEE Kerala. Candidates can check the details of which questions have been deleted and how the changes have been effected. The score calculation has also been modified on account of this development. Some leading coaching centres had also announced the answer key for KEAM 2017. Candidates were able to download the KEAM answer keys for the Paper I on April 24 and for Paper 2 on April 25, 2017. Challenge of the official KEAM answer keys 2017 can be done within 5 days from its announcement. Candidates could estimate their probable scores after comparing their answers with those given in the Answer Key of KEAM 2017. KEAM Admit Card 2017
The admit card of KEAM 2017 was available from April 12 for all successfully registered applicants. KEAM 2017 admit card was available in online mode only. The applicants were able to download their admit card online only. In order to download the KEAM 2017 admit card, the applicants had to enter their application number and password. KEAM 2017 admit card carry important information like the applicant’s name, photograph, exam centre and examination time table. Candidates were not informed individually about the availability of the admit card. Print out of the admit card had to be taken in colour and carried to the examination centre otherwise the applicants were not be allowed to take the examination. Help desks and facilitation centres were also available across the state of Kerala to help the applicants download and print their KEAM Admit Card 2017.
KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2017
To be eligible for the state level entrance examination of KEAM 2017, the applicants are required to meet certain qualifications set by the admission committee. Only if these various criteria related to the age, domicile, education and more of the applicant are met then he/she will be allowed to proceed further in the admission process.
Age Criteria: The applicants should be 17 years of age by December 31, 2017. No upper age limit is set by CEE.
Academic Requirements: For B.Tech admissions, the applicants should have completed their Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent examination from a recognized institute.
Qualifying Marks: The applicants should have secured 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For admission in B.Tech programmes under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges/Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges, the applicants should have scored 45% marks as an aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Domicile: OnlyIndian applicants will be eligible to apply. However, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible. The applicants will be categorized as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I and Non-Keralite Category II for admissions to professional courses.

KEAM Application Form 2017
The registration process of KEAM 2017 is over now. Application form of KEAM 2017 started from February 1, 2017. The applicants had to make sure they are registered properly to be eligible for the entrance examination. Those applicants who fail to submit the application form will be disqualified. Applicants had to register themselves to fill the online application form of KEAM 2017. The next step is to upload the scanned images of the applicant’s photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression after which the applicant will have to fill the application form with personal, academic and contact information. Payment of the application fees has to be done through offline or online mode. The applicants were required to take a print out of the application form, affix their photograph and send it along with other required documents to the Office of Commissioner of Entrance Examinations. No other mode of submission will be accepted.
