KCETKCET 2018 - Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct KCET 2018 in offline mode tentatively in first week of May 2018 for all the candidates. The state level engineering entrance exam will be conducted for admission to various B.Tech programmes offered by government and private institutions of Karnataka. Candidates will have to fill KCET 2018 application form in online mode tentatively available in the month of January 2018. KCET Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

The eligibility criteria of KCET 2018 define certain parameter on the basis of which candidates can take up the entrance exam. If the candidate does not fit in the prescribed KCET 2018 eligibility criteria, then he or she will be not allowed to appear in the exam. The eligibility criteria of KCET 2018 is different for different categories, whereas the citizenship criteria will be same for all the candidates i.e. Indian.

 

KCET eligibility criteria 2018 has been divided into categories

and each category candidate has to have some necessary documents as a proof of his or her eligibility. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for Karnataka CET 2018 as given below.

  •  Candidates must have passed 10+2 level qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and English as a language subject.

  • Candidates must have studied Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology as an elective subject in class XII.

  • Candidates must have obtained minimum 45% aggregate scores in class 10+2, if belonging to General Category.

  • For Reserved Category i.e. SC, ST Category I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), candidates need to have secured minimum 40% marks.

KCET Application Form 2018

 

To apply for KCET 2018, candidates will be required to fill the application form of KCET 2018. KEA will release KCET 2018 application form in online mode in the third week of January 2018 tentatively. Candidates will have to submit the application form along with the required application fees before the end prescribed date.

  • Enter personal details like contact number, date of birth, valid email ID and parents details.

  • Upload scanned copies of recent photograph, signature and left thumb impression as per the specifications.

  • Submit the application fee via State Bank of Hyderabad, Indian Bank, State Bank of Mysore or e-post office.

  • Submit the application form and take a print out of the same. It's better to get it signed by parents/ guardian and principal (of their school or college) or Gazetted Officer for future reference
