KCET Result 2017 - The result of KCET 2017 has been announced on May 30 (1 P.M.) in online mode. What does KCET 2017 Result contain?
The result displayed for Karnataka CET 2017 will show the rank obtained by the qualified candidate in the entrance exam.
The overall and subject-wise marks scored by the candidate will also be displayed in the result of KCET 2017.
The KCET result 2017 will also show the answer sheets disclosing all the responses as marked by the entrants.
The common entrance test of Karnataka will follow a merit list which will be based on the marks scored by the candidate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in KCET 2017 along with the marks obtained by the candidate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in the qualifying exam taken in the ratio of 50:50.
How to challenge the result sheet for KCET 2017?
Candidates can challenge the result sheet by submitting their objections within three days from the result of KCET 2017.The KCET result 2017 for such candidates will be held back and will be published later.
It is important to note that any objections to the marks secured in the KCET 2017 will not be entertained.
Candidates are required to verify their qualified exam marks printed on the result sheets. In case of any discrepancy related to this, they should immediately inform the authorities for change in their rank.
Candidates whose results will be withheld for want of qualifying examination marks are required to submit a photocopy of their qualifying exam marks card either in person or through speed post to the KEA.

How is Merit in the KCET Result calculated?
The expert committee will provide the final answer key which will be used during evaluation for determination of merit order.
The engineering ranks will be assigned to the eligible candidates according to the merit list announced by KEA.
Separate result sheets showing the engineering ranks will be published on the prescribed date.
On submission of required documents, ranks will be assigned to all those candidates too whose results will be with-held for want of 2nd PUC / 12th std marks.
