Candidates could exercise option entry for the second extended round of Karnataka CET 2017 from July 25, 2017 (9:00 p.m). Karnataka CET (KCET) Counselling and Seat Allotment 2017
KEA organises KCET Counselling 2017 in online as well as offline mode. Candidates who qualify KCET 2017 first need to verify their documents at the designated Helpline Centres. KEA is conducting a casual round of KCET 2017 from August 5 to 10. The second extended round of seat allotment for Karnataka CET 2017 is now over. KEA releases seat matrix and a list of participating institutes of KCET 2017. KEA had released the mock list for the first round of seat allotment on June 23, 2017 and the real allotment list on June 27, 2017. The second round of seat allotment was announced on July 17, 2017. The choice entry, admission order and last date for reporting for the second round was July 22, 2017.

KCET 2017 Result has been announced on May 30 in online mode. The result of KCET 2017 gives the scores and ranks of the qualified candidates, which they obtain in the entrance test. Karnataka CET (KCET) Cutoff 2017
KEA determines cutoff of KCET 2017 on the basis of minimum qualifying marks criteria. KCET 2017 cut off will be released by the exam conducting authority as soon as the counselling gets over. The closing/cutoff rank specifies that no further admissions will be done if candidates score below the closing rank or cut off marks of KCET 2017. KCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates passed in 10+2 level qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and English as a language subject are eligible to appear in the entrance test.
Candidates must have studied Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology as the elective subject in class XII.
Candidates need to obtain minimum 45% aggregate marks if belonging to General Category
For Reserved Category i.e. SC, ST Category I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) candidates, the candidates need to score at least 40% marks.

Karnataka CET (KCET) Exam Pattern 2017
KCET 2017 exam pattern includes the number of questions, type of questions, marking scheme, language and other information for appearing candidates. Check below test pattern of KCET 2017 including test subjects, modalities and marking scheme -
KCET 2017 will be conducted separately for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics on two alternate days
Each section of KCET 2017 carries 60 marks
KCET 2017 question paper comprises objective type questions of one mark each
Each subject paper of KCET 2017 is allotted 80 minutes time duration and the test is scheduled to be conducted in two shifts.
Candidates appearing in KCET 2017 need to carry black or blue ball point pen to mark options in OMR sheet.
There is no negative marking for KCET 2017 i.e. In case of wrong attempts, no marks will be deducted from total scored marks. Also, responding with more than one option will be considered as wrong and no marks will be awarded in such case.
