JNU CEE M.Tech 2020: Jawaharlal Nehru University has released the application form for JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 on March 2. The final date to submit the application form is March 31, 2020. JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 is conducted to screen the candidates for admission to various engineering postgraduate degree programmes. National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 from May 11 to 14 on behalf of the University. The entrance test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. To apply for JNU CEE M.Tech 2020, candidates will have to meet certain eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. Age limit, qualifying examination, marks to score, year of passing and more are given under the JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 eligibility criteria. Candidates failing to meet any one of the given eligibility criteria of JNU M.Tech CEE 2020 will unable to apply for admission. Candidates applying for admission to M.Tech Biotech programme will have to meet some eligibility criteria which are different from that of M.Tech eligibility criteria. JNU CEEB 2020 eligibility criteria include parameters such as qualifying examination passed and marks secured. Also, the eligibility criteria of JNU CEEB will differ for the participating institutes.
Candidate must have minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognised university/institute in the concerned subjects.
Candidates who will be appearing in the final year examination of graduation can also apply for the examination.

Candidates must note that there will be some seats reserved for admission. Under the JNU CEE M.Tech 2020, out of the total number of seats authorities will reserve certain seats for candidates belonging to different categories. While applying for JNU CEE M. Tech 2020 admission, candidates falling under the reservation criteria can use the specific reservation at the time of filling out the application form. According to the JNU CEE M.Tech reservation criteria 2020, a relaxation of 10% will be provided to OBC-NCL candidates in qualifying examination. On the other hand; SC, ST and PwD candidates will be eligible to appear in the entrance examination irrespective of their marks in qualifying examination. All the eligible candidates can now fill and submit the application form of JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 in online mode. The filling and submitting of JNU CEE M.Tech application form 2020 includes steps like registering, uploading scanned images, enter personal details and payment of fee. Candidates must ensure that while filling out the application form all the details or information entered must be valid and correct. For the reference of the candidates, mentioned below are the steps to be followed while filling JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 application form.
Step 1 - Get register: Register by submitting information like candidate's name, email ID, mobile number, nationality and date of birth. On successful registration, the confirmation message or email will be received at registered mobile number and email address respectively.
Step 2 - Log-in to application portal and fill the form: Log-in to the application portal to fill details in application form. To log-in, enter the registered email/application number address and password. After log-in, enter all the requisite information in the application form. Provide personal, academic and contact details.
Step 3 - Upload scanned images of photograph and signature: After providing requisite details, it will be indicated to upload their scanned images of photograph and signature in prescribed format as mentioned below.

Step 4 - Review the filled in application form- Review the filled in application form before proceeding to the payment gateway. While reviewing the application form, if any information entered is found incorrect, it can be rectified.
Note: It must be noted that after the payment of application fee no changes will be allowed in the application form of JNU CEE M.Tech 2020.
Step 5 - Pay application fee: After completing the above steps, candidates will be redirected to payment gateway. The application fee will have to be paid in an online mode only. The payment can be either done through credit/debit card or SBI net banking.
Note: For net banking through other banks candidates will have to pay an additional bank charge of Rs. 15.

The admit card of JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 will be issued by the authority for successfully registered candidates on April 30. JNU CEE M.Tech admit card 2020 will be available in an online mode. Candidates will be able to access the admit card by log into the admission portal by entering application form number and password. Before downloading the admit card, candidates must ensure that all information listed on admit card is correct. In case, the candidate finds any discrepancy, he/she must immediately contact admission authority for any discrepancy. Also, candidates must carry their admit card to the time of examination center. Without admit card, candidates will not be able to appear for the examination. Admit card is an important document which must be preserved until all admission process are complete.
The admission authority of examination will announce the result of JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 in online mode on May 31. Candidates will be able to access their JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 result by logging to admission portal using application number and password. The result will comprise details like marks secured, candidates’s roll number and name. Based on the marks secured in entrance examination, candidates will be offered a seat.
A merit list of JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the entrance test and deprivation points awarded (if any). Authorities will award a maximum of 12 deprivation points to eligible candidates.JNU CEE M.Tech merit 2020 list will be prepared category and department-wise. The participating institutes will also publish their merit list simultaneously.
JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 cutoff is the minimum marks that a candidate requires to secure in entrance examination to get admission to the desired course. Qualifying candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in the entrance examination will be eligible for counselling procedure. The cutoff of JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 for all five M.Tech disciplines will be published by the authorities. JNU CEE M.Tech cutoff 2020 will be available for each category and course separately.
Candidates who will secure more marks than cutoff will have higher chances of getting admission in desired programmes. Also, candidates must know that various factors are considered while determining the cutoff list. Factors like total number of applicants, seat availability, category and previous year cutoff trends are taken into consideration while preparing cutoff. The authority will conduct JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 counselling based on the merit list. Candidates who will be ranked higher in the merit list will be given preference during the counselling of JNU CEE M.Tech 2020. Candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling in person. During the process they will have to get their documents verified for seat allotment of JNU CEE M.Tech 2020. No seat will be allotted to candidates if documents have not been verified during counselling.
Note: For admission to Biotechnology programmes, participating institutes will have their individual counselling rules and regulations.
JNU CEE M.Tech 2020 Participating institutes are the institutes which will offer admission to candidates in the preferred course. The admission will be offered on the basis of marks secured by them in the entrance examination. Candidates who will qualify entrance examination, will be eligible to get admission to two departments i.e., School of Computer and System Sciences and Special Centre for Nano Sciences.

Yes, you can apply for different schools or different programmes in the same form for JNU entrance examination. But, you will have to fill the separate fees for each course you have opted for. You can apply for more than one program under different schools but, it adds up as payment for all separately.
