JMI Eligibility Criteria 2018 – The eligibility criteria of JMI admission 2018 is determined by Jamia Millia Islamia for admission to B.Tech and B.E. programmes available at the university. Aspirants will be shortlisted based on their score in JEE Main 2018 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Important: While submitting the JMI application form, the candidates must submit their registration number.
JMI 2018 Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech Programmes
Candidates must have passed Sr. Sec. School Certificate (10+2)/Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects, with at least 55% marks in PCM.
They should have passed the qualifying examination in the year 2016, 2017 or should be appearing in 2018.
Diploma holders in Engineering stream recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of 3 or 4 year duration with at least 55% marks are also eligible.
For B.Arch Programme
Candidates who have passed 10+2 and have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry will be considered eligible.
They should have passed the qualifying exam in the year 2016, 2017 or are appearing in 2018, will be considered eligible to first year of the B. Arch. course, subject to an aptitude test.
Diploma holders (10+3) recognized by Central/State government are also considered eligible provided they have passed the Diploma with 50% marks in aggregate.
JMI Eligibility Criteria 2018 related to Age
Candidates should not be less than 17 years on October 1 of the admission year.
