JMI B.Tech Counselling 2020 - Jamia Millia Islamia University will be commencing the application process of JMI B.Tech 2020 counselling tentatively in the last week of February. Candidates will have to fill and submit the application form before the final date to participate in the counselling of JMI B.Tech 2020. A merit list will be prepared by the authorities on the basis of JEE Main scores. Candidates who are shortlisted for JMI B.Tech counselling 2020 will be able to download their counselling letter and report for allotment. During the counselling of JMI B.Tech 2020, the allotment will be done as per the candidate’s merit, preferences, category and availability of seats. The authorities will commence the registration process of JMI B.Tech 2020 counselling tentatively in the last week of February. All candidates with valid JEE Main scores will have to register and participate in the counselling process for admission into the B.Tech courses offered by the University. The given steps can be followed by the candidates to proceed with the counselling of JMI B.Tech 2020.

Step 1 - Registration: Candidates will be able to access the application form for JMI B.Tech 2020 counselling in online mode. In the first step, the candidates will have to register by providing information such as their name, email ID, mobile number, date of birth and more.
Step 2 - Filling of Form: Next, the candidates will have to select their preferred course and then fill all of the required personal, academic and communication details. It should be noted that all of the details should be valid in nature.
Step 3 - Uploading of Scanned Documents: According to the specifications mentioned by the authorities, the candidates will have to upload their scanned photograph and signature in the application form.

Step 4 - Filling of Academic Qualifications: Candidates will have to fill the qualifying examination details such as name of school, board, secured marks and more.
Step 5 - Counselling Fee Payment: Next, the candidates will have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 550 through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (e-challan at SBI branch).
Step 6 - Submission of Application Form: Finally, the candidates will have to submit the application form and take a print out for future use.
The list of candidates who have been selected will be present in the merit list of JMI B.Tech 2020. The authorities will prepare the merit list on the basis of the performance of the candidates’ performance in JEE Main 2020.
Based on the merit list, the candidates will be called in for the counselling and seat allotment of JMI B.Tech 2020. The candidates will be able to access the counselling letter through their email or online candidate portal. While reporting to the centre, the candidates will be allotted seats as per their merit, selected preferences, reservation and availability of seats. To confirm their admission, the candidates will have to get their documents verified and pay the balance fee.
During allotment, the reserved seats will be filled as per the policy of the University. If empty seats are left after the counselling of JMI B.Tech 2020, then it will still not be moved to the non-reserved category.

Though there is no pattern that JEE Main is following here but you can see that topics like Modern Physics, Optics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Magnetism & Magnetic Effects of Current, EMI & AC Circuits, and EM Waves have been scoring topics in decreasing order.
On average, General Organic Chemistry + Functional Group I has most questions (avg=5.5) but AIEEE 2011 had only 2 questions from this topic, apart from this Coordination Compunds, Atomic structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Organic Chemistry Functional Group III, Chemical and Ionic Equilibrium, States of Matter, Biomolecules, Chemical Bonding, Functional Group III are topics in decreasing importance according to the data.
In Mathematics, Application of Derivatives, Indefinite Integrals, Definite Integrals & Area Under The Curve, Matrices and Determinants, Probability, Quadratic Equations, Inequalities, Progression are important topics in decreasing importance.
